Precision Electric Screwdriver The Fanttik E1 Max

Ғылым және технология

I never thought I would be reviewing a screwdriver, but here I am doing just that. This is not a regular screwdriver though. Its the Fanttik NEX E1 MAX Precision Electric Screwdriver. We will be changing the thermal paste in my notebook to see how it works.

    @Cyber CPU Tech If you touch and hold the screwdriver bit on the magnetizer versus "swishing" the bit around quickly, you have a better chance of magnetizing the bit. Great video review!

    Other thing would be to remove the bit from the screwdriver because it is hold on by magnetic

    Super looking screwdriver. I need an electric screwdriver, but most of them are too large and heavy for me. That looks light enough that I could actually use it.

    what is your personal opinion on the best thermal paste ?

    your best bet for high quality thermal paste is thermal grizzly. they can be a bit expensive compared to other brands, but they have basically the best pastes you can buy. You can judge thermal paste quality by its W/mK (Watts per meter kelvin) thermal conductivity rating. W/mK is a measure of how well it is able to conduct heat. I've used almost all their grades of paste, including the liquid metal, and they are great. do your research on how to correctly apply the liquid metal if you decide to use it though or you could prick your device.

    Have you ever tested the iFixIt electric screwdriver? I wonder how it compares to this one.

    Since it's a direct die, wouldn't you get better thermals using Thermal Grizzly's liquid metal, rather than the thermal paste?

    Normal thermal paste is plenty anough. Light metal is risky and really hard to apply. And on most heatsinks and CPUs it's not even compatible

    Curious - Permanent magnetic bits etc are not hard to manufacture are they? I can't remember any magnet I ever bought not being permanent. Was a mechanic when young

  • @josephbargo5024

    @josephbargo5024

    Ive never seen permanent magnet bits. Most bits are ferromagnetic, meaning a magnetic field can reposition the spin of the electrons in the metal. This magnetizes the bit but isn’t permanent or very strong compared to a permanent magnet. Most manufacturers add a strong permanent magnet behind the bit holder that magnetizes the bits more than just altering the electron spin. In short size constraints and metal strength properties prevent making bits from permanent magnet material.

    i know is not the right place here, but has anyone problems with KB5034123 on Windows 11 ? (and actually there is another update related to this, the KB5034204). I can't install neither ! The Windows is original, 11 Home, came with the laptop.

    I recently had issues with one of them dated October 2023. Clearing caches and manual updates didn't work. I ended up downloading a new Windows ISO and installing over my existing one to skip over the failing ones. If you do this ensure you get the same language as what is installed on your system.

    I have one. Basically exactly the same tool but mine came in a card board box and less bits. It did come with a USB C charge cable, but it's only about 6 inches long, so that cable is useless. Otherwise I love it. Yours is better and I really like that storage case. I didn't get a spudger or tweezer either. I've not had any luck with magnetizing my bits either. I played with magnets when I was a kid. They seem nowhere near the quality, strength, or just overall greatness they were then, and sadly, I think it's because China sends all their junk over here and not good stuff. Back then more things were made in America and Japan. Except for (American) flags, made in the Republic of China. Sad. I have another toolkit though not called I Fix It, it's got the same stuff including what looks like a wrap of nylon or cordura around tools. And I also have those picks. I don't think either one of mine costs that much unless I was in one of my shopping stupors. Pretty sure the electric screwdriver was around under $30.00 I did get them on The Amazon though... Looking back through history I see I paid $ 23.99 for what you're calling "I Fix It" Kit. Mine has a different name but all those tools. And the electric driver is $ 24.99 Never even considered The Amazon until this pandemic came about and taking care of my Mother while she was dying, of the cancer, and I couldn't leave the house. But anyway. Those little magnetizers never really worked for me. I had a horseshoe magnet when I was a kid and that thing stuck to anything and you had to have some strength to get it loose. It worked great at magnetizing things.
