I always watch your videos after every chem class, it gives me a better understanding! I would say you are the best youtube channel for all math and science subjects :)
I feel really satisfied every time after watching your youtube vedio.you just spend time and go slowly and surely in detail in such a manner that we as a student really understand everything you teach. Thank you so much. I'm so glad such a rare KZread channel like yours exist .
I learned more from you than I have learned from my AP teacher... Do you have a donation page?

@@TheOrganicChemistryTutor Why is it Pb 2+ and not Pb 4+ if on the chem table it say it has a 4+ or 4-
@fanaticflame6946
5 ай бұрын
Its a transition metal, so they generally have different ions (depending on which given one) In the question, he used Pb(NO3)2, tracing back on the criss-cross method, that shows that the lead (Pb)charge used in that reaction would be +2, If it was Pb(NO3)4 then the lead (Pb) charged used would be Pb+4 @@marlenegarcia6811 😀
I was confused for the entire chapter and I have a test tomorrow. This video made this so much clearer to me

Oh! How did I not get this before, it's so easy??? What?? Thank you, my man!
best 10 min I spent studying!! you did a great job breakingthis down so I could understand. Thank you
I honestly would fail chem without this
i seriously can't thank you enough for making this video, its SO helpful!
If I should have had my own way I would have subscribed to your channel thousand times. Wow ! You super good sir. Thank you very much😊
Very helpful video, helped me understand a lot of important details about the precipitation reaction before an important exam. Thank you!
god bless you i have a chemistry exam tomorrow if i pass which i know i am going to its all beacuse of you i cant thank you enough by how much u helped me in math and in chemistry
i seriously learned more from u than my chemistry sir....
taking a chapter 3-4 quiz today and a midterm on thursday chapter 1-4 this is a life saver!!

you honestly saved my life thank you thank you thank youuu!!!
Going to write a test and this video is what I need
Awesome!!! I just learned so much! Thank you
Hello, how do I know if a precipitation forms or not? how do i know which if the precipitate?
Can I ask why didn't you consider that 2 of chlorine when trying to find the products ?
learned more from him than I did my professor with an hour
This guy has a video for everything I need
Thank you so much, your teaching is a gift
i have a Chemistry test tomorrow and i am currently cramming at 11 pm ✌ Got to love highschool

3:30 - If it's insoluble, you write it labeled as a solid and not Aq, right?
THAT WAS SOOOO HELPFUL!!!! thANKS

This was very helpful thank you

thank you so much, I finally know how to do this
You're simply amazing thank you
This was very helpful
why you did not put the subscript on cl2? AgCL2
Can somebody explain why there is a 1 in front of ca? I don't get it.
Thank you so much, Sir.
chem is making me want to kms but you are making that less likely of an outcome. thank you!
do you have to divide by two for the net ionic equation or can you leave it with a coefficient?
@adryerwithabrickinit9231

Cierra Harwart you divide it by the greatest common factor of all coefficients to simplify
Thanks helped out a lot!
Hi thanks a lot your videos are really clear and helpful, i don't understand though... Does the activity series of metals not apply to precipitation reactions?
I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR THIS VIDEO !!!!
i have a question someone please answer why did he leave 2AgCl in the products at 4:52? why didn't you separate it and write the charge like you did with ca(no3)2?

How do you know each nitrate has a +1 to get a +2 charge from Pb? 6:30
why do you keep the coefficients in some equations and take them out in others
this was very helpful! thank you!
in the first question i don't understand why you combined NO3 and Ca together. Shouldnt Ca be combining with Ag?
Helped alot thank you

For 7:38 there are 2 NO3's so wouldn't you write Na2(NO3)2? Since (NO3)2 would have a -2 charge as there are two of them so it would require 2 NA's ?
@youtube_cws1969
2 жыл бұрын
NO3 still has a -1 charge but there's two of them to match the 2+ charge of lead. When you combine Na and NO3 together they both have a -1 charge so it becomes NaNO3. Na2(NO3)2 is just reduced to NaNO3 since everything is divisible by 2.
Syabonga muhle umsebenzi wakho
don't understand how you know the charges here of each element..
@K9Raptor
7 жыл бұрын
Douglas W Every element in a group has the same charge, you can calculate for the charge too by looking at the valence electrons, eg. Oxygen's valence electron would be 6 as 16-2-8, and you can see that it is missing 2 electrons for it to be stable, therefore it's charge would be -2.
