Pre Arrival FULLY INVOLVED TOW TRUCK FIRE Brick New Jersey 5/30/24
Ocean County - GSP 91.5 - Brick Township - New Jersey
Around 1:05 PM Brick Township got a report of a Tow Truck on fire around 91.5 SB on the Garden State Parkway, first reports were flames and heavy smoke showing. On arrival of the first due engine they had a mostly involved tow truck on fire on the shoulder of the exit ramp. Crews from 2471 stretched a bumper/trash line to the car and quickly got water on the fire. Crews worked the fire for about 25 minutes before clearing the scene. There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is unknown.

Honey, we get to keep the car for a few more days. The repo man has to find another truck.
Excellent. Crew got off ready to go. Hose pulled and water on the fire in 30 seconds. Also, a very nice Seagrave.

isnt that his job? how hard is it? trans in neutral. speedo zeros out. flip switch. trans in drive. it aint like its a 73 firecoach moron.
Nice catch, keep up the good work!!
Fast knockdown! Great work!
That’s got to be the quickest water on I have seen from you guys on the other side of the pond! Good job
That was a well involved car-be-que. Glad there were no injuries.
Makes a change to see a crew actually fight a fight within seconds. In the UK traffic would have been stopped from passing because of visibility. Well done that crew.
Extremely fast response by the fire department. Very unusual when it comes to American fire brigades where it usually takes minutes to get the first water! Very impressive effort!
Unusual for Jersey, they used B foam ... I like it!
My Boys TJ and Robert Stauffer Go Get Em Brothas Yea baby nice knockdown Heard the Q RIPPIN 💪😎🇺🇸💨🔥👨🚒
Great video
Pretty sure that’l buff out.
Nice to see the guys on air.
Fried Chicken stroke ! Lol
One less 6.4l Powerstroke.
Can't believe a 6.4 made it that long, they usually have already burnt themselves up 10 - 15 years ago. Nothing lost on this day.
Hey Jersey shore, I moved from the west coast to the east coast 2 years ago. I find hear its hard to find the emergencys without a close ear on the scanner. Is their any app you use to find the rural fires? (No pulsepoint coversge in my area/

Man I listen to the radio 24/7 no pulse point around here really, the wildfires I most find via VHF radio, the scanner app is a good place to listen.

@@jerseyshorefireresponse Alright cool, I have a boafang radio to scan on.
This tow truck will need some new paint and auto body work but should look just like new after the repair work is done.
Its the repo man...let it burn down completely then charge him for removal and fire response

You must have been close by getting there before FD lol
Nice catch as usual!
Ford Diesel?
They did all the siren tones on arriving was expecting them to come out the engine break dancing
Hey you can't park there you know.😃🤣😂
Mr Zurawski Polish firefighter?
@6:05 can those four guys not see where it's burning?
Where was the driver?
Those tow trucks are expensive, and someone is out of a job, sadly
why did they need the second truck? the first one had the fire out before the second one even arrived

Probably didn't, but the information from dispatch is notoriously unreliable, and so they could have shown up to a bigger situation than origimally thought. Also, not sure what size booster tanks this department runs, but it could be as small as 500 gallons, so having a second 500 gallons available makes sense.

It's much better to cancel unneeded units than to have needed units be late getting there.
one good tow truck body never been on fire needs new hoses lol
Don't zoom.
another dodge burns from lack of care. should of got a ford with reliableability and cared for.
This happens so often Ford calls them thermal events .And thats why I would never own a Ford

One would think that they would stand on the other side of the vehicle initially and fight it from upwind to begin with. 🙄🙄

Why would you want to push all that smoke into the lanes of traffic driving?
@Cthippo1
23 күн бұрын
Firefighters are trained to attack vehicle fires from a 45 degree angle to the side of the vehicle due to concerns about tires or airbags or bumper systems going off. With SCBA you can mostly disregard the smoke.
jeebus. wat a production. ya need a chief on a vic fire?
