No no, I listen almost exclusively to trad Goth music. Peter Murphy and Siouxsie Sioux are two of my all-time favorites! His voice and style just aren't for me. But, that's okay. :) If others enjoy it, then I say to them, rock on!

The people complaining about his voice obviously don't listen to Goth music much. Strained, lilting, high-pitched vocals and/or deep baritone droning are staples of Goth Rock and its related genres. His voice very much reminds me of Rozz Williams from Christian Death mixed with simplistic Darkwave or Coldwave instrumentation. Highly inventive, definitely goth, and surprisingly awesome besides.
