We only do 1 day without water! It’s called an absolute fast. I’ve never done more than 1 day of no water, so i would not recommend anymore to anyone else. Research EVERYTHING we speak from our personal experiences. Love you all

You can go without water for a time actually. Your body switches into a mode where it retains the ions like salts to help retain water. You will no longer need to pee. But you have to train the body for water scarcity. As long as the salt is present you can go a long time without drinking. The science behind fasting is amazing. I recommend looking into it. I would suggest start with studying Autophagy.

Normally the body can go without water for 7 days. But as a doctor and a pastor I would never recommend anyone to go that long. I myself have done 30 and 40 days of juice fasting that help me overcome prostate and colon cancer. I've also done 3 days, 2 weeks and 30 days of water fasting. 30 days of water fasting needs to be done under supervision.

Fasting is DELIVERANCE! Im 55 married mom and enjoy listening to you girls and the wisdom you have. I did my first fast at 31. It is life changing. Prior to the fast I didn’t cook and I ate a lot of junk food. The first thing I was convicted after the fast was of was my poor eating habits and the Lord gave me a desire to cook and prepare healthy meals.🙌🏻

Going into my first fast today. my roommate/bestfriend who I use to party with before I was saved. has always been respectful of my change and relationship with god. But yesterday She asked to join me in this fast and bible study. Our church does 21 day fasting and it’s AMAZING! The full 21 days is no social media/tv/internet outside of work and church related content - the first 7 days is mostly to focus on the no social media, week 2 is give up something that you use daily so for example: caffeine, sweets, nicotine etc. the week 3 is 1 meal per day. When I tell you that God has changed my life through the fasting, I MEAN IT 😭 HE is incredible. I haven’t been the same since 🙌🏼 He has changed every aspect of my life. I owe it all to Him.

I did my first fast and it ended yesterday March 14th 2024 ! And I prayed to God to confirm and clarify for me the things he revealed and put on my heart. This morning March 15th after prayer , I got my notification for a new episode of GGB and here I found in the first 15 minutes of the episode my exact confirmation and answer to what I asked. It’s not a coincidence it’s not luck it is the Power and the mercy and the Grace and the divine work of Jesus Christ our saviour! Thank you so much God for using this platform and these women as vessels to reach a multitude of people who are in desperate need of your saving grace ! I had the conviction to fast from the Lord all of a sudden at the end of my day before I was about to cook dinner for me and my boyfriend. I kept going back and forth with it and then I just said out loud “You know what, let your will be done, Lord” and I just felt the Holy Spirit smile 😊😊 I am also in a period of learning how to come out of being lukewarm in faith and I feel like just committing to this sudden call is a milestone in that!!!

Salvation for my coworkers (Evelyn, Charles, Patrick, Ashlyn, Rebeca and Natasha), deliverance from addiction for my sister Abigail. Boldness with all of our faith/testimony. A community for my husband and I and in the meantime growing in both of our walk’s with Jesus. Removal of fear of judgement of the world. Praying for those commenting under me ❤️❤️❤️

The Lord is truly here. I'm currently on a 3 day fast. Today is my second day and I started feeling week and desiring to end it but I made a prayer for God to strengthen me so I can go through the fast period. I don’t usually engage/comment on videos but I have to say this couldn’t be more timely. I went through a lot the past few years that caused me to unfortunately backslide. I broke up with someone 2 weeks ago who I thought was going to be my husband. I was so lost and broken that I couldn’t be alone. I was constantly on FaceTime with my mom or friends. I fasted and prayed for 3 days last week and God delivered me from more in those few days than I have ever been. Mind you, I had to fight for my life because I was mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually weak, but GOD. Never underestimate the power of the Word. I had to have my nose in my Bible the whole three days while working!! Praise Jesus y’all

Many of the things we are dealing with are in our subconscious mind. These are things we picked up as young children and have progressed into adulthood. Over the past 3 weeks I asked the Holy Spirit to bring to my mind everything and every person that I hurt and that I was hurt by. My prayers were answered immediately. For these past 3 weeks he brought to my mind things and people that I suppressed for years and had forgotten about. I had to face those things head on, confess them, and release them. I then released blessings, peace, forgiveness, and love to the LORD first, then myself, and lastly others. I literally felt a release of things I never confronted. Your subconscious mind is powerful and has a hand in your behavior. This is why the bible says to be transformed by the renewing of your MIND.

Remember when the disciples went back to fishing? Since we have a risen Saviour, we are called to further the Kingdom of Heaven and given a great commission with all authority (Matthew 28) so you never have to make up your own. He has prepared good works for you ... The first time I fasted for a day, it was definitely challenging. However, I noticed that fasting afterwards, it got easier! Same thing when adding multiple days. The first three day fast I did was really hard because the body just isn't used to that, but it got easier the more often I did it! Every time you start feeling pain or weakness, just know that it's proof that you're willfully sacrificing your body to deepen your relationship with God! Love your podcast, ladies!

Loved this episode. Fasting is probably the hardest spiritual discipline for me, as I struggle with food addiction/binge eating disorder and so restriction can trigger my BED and cause a binge IFFF I’m not doing it in the Lord’s strength. As a hospice/palliative care worker, I will caution about fasting from water. One of the ways our patients can choose to end their life is by doing a process called VSED, or Voluntary Stopping Eating and Drinking. 3 days is the longest you can go without water without causing irreversible damage to your organs. Not saying that short term fasts from all intake is necessarily physically harmful, but please use caution withholding water and don’t push it too hard. For the last two years, insomnia has been my worst enemy, and I really need deliverance from it. Great discussion, I remember some years back our pastor called for a 40 day fast. We each took a day. I personally took a day I just drank water and listened to worship music all day, prayed,etc. The next day was awesome I felt like I was on cloud 9 in the spirit. That following evening after I got off work I went to a church where our pastor was speaking. When I got to the parking lot after I parked my car, got out. I literally started running to get in side the church and It was awesome. That service was awesome also. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He’ll direct your path. proverbs 3:6 This includes fasting. And may the Lord bless you and keep you as well…..

Hi guys! We are up in Boston and love watching you! Just some info regarding fasting that may help you….it’s important to continue to drink water as your body needs to remain hydrated for your organs etc. And if you google “how to start a fast” and “how to end a fast” so that your body can handle it. Some people may have medical issues which Jesus understands (and they can believe Him for healing) so they can fast something that means something to them without completely not eating- and some people’s blood sugar levels require a little sugar so they may need to drink juice. You may want to put a disclaimer on the video to protect yourselves. We love you! We watch you every week and you are reaching so many precious souls that need to know how much Jesus loves them! I’ve been in a Bible study (bible study fellowship) and international study but I love seeing young women hungry for the Word and normalizing the practice of being in God’s Word every day. Prayer Request: my family is in shambles. My husband was on drugs and is not a man of God. He says he is. He recently went to rehab but only lasted five days. He is now in a border patrol prison for trying to cross the border and having ammunition in his truck. We have two small baby girls who ask about him everyday. I have trusted God each day and feel like the divorce is something he wanted but now I’m unsure. Testimony for God's perfect timing: Before the podcast was released I decided to fast for the first time and asked God for guidance. 4 hours later you girls posted this postcast. Honestly, truly grateful and a it gave me a great blue print on how to do my first fast with humility

I'm fasting today and DANG... it's exactly what I needed to do. My mind already feels so renewed, my will is starting to be more aligned to God's, and I can just feel myself naturally operating more in the Spirit, with more compassion, peace, and love. Emptying myself completely and depriving myself brings the Holy Spirit to LIFE. 🙏 I ask for prayers that my family will be completely overcome and saved by the love of Jesus and delivered from all powers of darkness. I want to see them raised to new life in Jesus. I also ask for prayers that my faith would be more deeply rooted in Jesus alone. I've found that I've stopped fasting and praying in the Spirit like I used to a few months ago, and I've conformed in the last season to the people around me and the way they practice their faiths. I've compromised and made excuses. I've definitely been having a hard time hearing from God in this past season and truly walking in the Spirit. It's been a dry season. The Lord is really convicting my heart of this and I need prayer that I am able to maintain my spiritual disciplines and live out my convictions so I can abide in Jesus and walk in the light! I could never express how much gratitude I have for you girls. Y'all changed my entire life, I found u 6 months ago when I was in the middle of my first ever heartbreak. Only in God's timing, this was exactly what I needed to hear as it's where the next step of my spiritual growth lies. I felt called to do an intermittent fast this last week, before even listening to this episode! I am breastfeeding so will wait to start doing a full days plus fast but am already experiencing the benefits of a short fast. I would like to pray for you and your cousin, let us pray Lord thank you for the gift of life thank you for gifting us friends and family that we can grow this, and who we can trust in pray over Bridget and her cousin Lord you know them better than anyone else does you know the number of hairs on their head, you know their deepest desires, and so Lord i ask that you be with them and bless them guide them in everything they do! i ask that you continue to help them with their devotion to prayer be with them and may they feel your presence through out their journey. I feel like I’ve been called to fast and this just felt like a sign, it’s what I’ve been needing.

Such a great testimony Angela. I had a similar experience on day 6 of my 7 day fast. Holy Spirit turned up when I was in the market place and I was hit with so much love and Joy I was completely overwhelmed. My senses all became alive and I could feel others in the moment and began to cry as I understood this is how Jesus walked his life during ministry. It was so powerful I had to release all my tear and cried for 20min without stopping. When I processed it Jesus was saying to me I know what you wanted but what I am giving you right now is more important than that, and all my grief from my earthly fathers death was taken away in that moment. I hope I can connect with both of you in the near future. God bless and keep sharing Gods word. You both are so encouraging. Regards Jarred Harn

Gm everyone, asking for prayers for me and my family. My son passed away one year ago today. 19 yrs old. It was a work incident. He leaves behind my beautiful grandaughter. She looks just like him ❤️ and I'm so grateful, thankful, and blessed God gave us a piece of my son. We are shattered, heartbroken, and still in disbelief, but I serve a God who heals and gives comfort to his children. Lord, I praise you through the worst thing that could ever happen to a mother, I praise you through the dark days and the good days, I will praise you forever. Thank you, Jesus, for the peace you give us that surpasses all understanding. 🙏🙌❤️ God bless you ladies and to everyone watching. ❤️🙏

Im so happy to read ur response. I was just thinking of that the other day. I feel decades younger than my age. I believe its one of the gifts receieved from following our lord!

I’ve watched GGB for a week already and I always watch it now. I have gotten my Bible studies done and Jesus calling writings done. I’ve just began to have a better outlook on life and how my life has so much purpose because of God. I’m so grateful I started watching you guys. I can’t say I’ve completely stopped with lust but I have been getting so much better at avoiding it. Even when i have those intrusive thoughts I know it’s the enemy and can’t differentiate what it is. This year has been so difficult. I have had competitive dance and although I’m so incredibly grateful for that opportunity and that I even get to dance, I don’t love it and my passion really left me. The hours are also like 5 hours everyday and it’s been so miserable doing something you don’t want to do. But I’m almost done. But through GGB, I grew to know it’s a personal trial that God is putting me through so I can grow even deeper in his love. I also made a Christian friend through dance and we talk about the Bible and God and Jesus and how we were brought together for a reason. TY GGB!! Amen sisters 🩷🫶🏻
