Pray like Jesus | Mark 1 | Gary Hamrick

4/18/2021
Prayer is conversation, communication, and communion with God. Sometimes it involves speaking, sometimes listening, and sometimes just being silent and still before Him. But prayer is a gift that connects us to our Heavenly Father. And yet, most people would say that they don’t utilize this gift as often as they should. In today’s study, Pastor Gary takes us through the first chapter of Mark to examine the prayer life of Jesus-how He got up early before sunrise to pray despite the fact that the day and night before were extremely demanding. We can learn from His example and discipline our lives to “pray like Jesus”.

I hope I not only hear and not do. I am guilty. I have neglected prayer, or forfited prayer for complaining. Lord, forgive me, and help me to return to my first love with communication, commitment, conviction to confession. And to communion with you, dear Lord, whom I have stood up for months. Lord, help.

Pastor your so funny sometimes.! My whole life I have always made time for prayer. It is a discipline, one you'll get used to. I pray every morning and I pray every evening before bed, and all throughout the day. It's a real Joy when she get used to it having that personal time and relationship with Jesus Christ. Nothing can beat it. Thank you for this sermon God bless and have a great day.
