Morarji desai waited for years for the post of prime minister . N once he got it he really disappointed the people. He could have prooved himself but instead he was busy fighting with his own pupil ... Seriously at the time of serious crisis surrounding the country K Kamraj Ji's decision of not appointing him as a prime minister was a golden one. I seriously wish had Lal bahadur Shastri Ji would have been alive , our country would have progressed in a much faster way.

The problem with both the parties was nobody opposed freely even if they feel so. Nobody opposed Indira's decision of emergency in the cabinet and then complained in the court. Nobody opposed moraraji's decision of removing Charan Singh.

This was the case in previous emergency episode as well. Morarji govt fell because Charan Singh, under influence of Sanjay, demanded that dual membership ministers (like Vajpayee and Advani) of RSS & Jansangh should not be allowed. Vajpayee and Advani refused to terminate their association with RSS. This led to collapse of Morarji government

After seeing all this I am having a question about Democracy is good or Bad? Because it is the reason there are multiple political parties and those parties dividing people of India, pulling each other legs, I feel like I am seeing a reality show Political Boss same like Big Boss which is still running after independence. I wish we have one King like Sri Ram for the whole country.

Morarji appears to be one greedy individual struggling for PM's post since independence. Morarjee, Charan singh,Jagjeevan, Indira, Sanjay Gandhi all had personal ambitions greater than the country's development. Their personal grudge was responsible for the downfall of our nation. When all other countries like Japan Korea were developing these selfish congress leaders were busy playing emergency and revenge/Appeasement politics. It's all big boss drama after Shastree jee's death. It's unbelievable how Indira was still supported by so many people after the blunder like emergency and still do. Shame we didn't have one good pm during those years. We must stop portray these politicians as some larger than life heroes.

Yes, dictators don't last without support from people.

Almost all Politicians belive in Astrology but everyone denies it publicly. Indira's relations with Sadhus and Astrologers is widely popular in the Astrology world. I can tell that because both my parents are Astrologers. My father has even also met PM Modi's personal Astrologer in New Delhi.

Despite having such huge experience, still some people were optimistic about 'Mahagathbandhan' around 2019. Imagine the chaos we would face, especially given the immediate covid pandemic situation.

Ruthless politics in India at that time

First of all what the hell is this.No one is above law whosoever it may be be it the president or the prime minister itself. They just cannot deny giving a statement or ignoring the need to face the judiciary with no attitude. If it would have been the case of a common man, he would have to spend 24/7 hours day and night around the court to prove himself. Indira Gandhi committed a huge mistake of announcing emergency but instead of facing it and an seeing the questions she denied it though she was not in power.... This clearly showed their political mischievousness with double faced nature...

I wasn't there but can presume that people were so honest, they were not know what was fake or True, As I know in 1980 only 43.57 percent people literate means .. They were really didn't know what was politics, might have followed the trend only.. If something that happens in these days people go hell them out surely ..

And the result is over population which is now the main reason behind all other major problems of our country...Sometimes our immature democracy is like a curse for the drastic changes necessary for the development...
