SCRIPT for you to practise with friends or even on your own. A: Hey Leila, fancy bumping into you here! B: Yeah, so great to see you, it’s been a while, how’s things? A: Oh you know, same old really, I’ve been pretty busy lately. And you? B: I know what you mean, , I’ve been rushed off my feet at work…I’ve been meaning to call you actually. Are you in a rush or have you got time to grab a coffee and catch up? A: Sure, I’m in no major hurry. I’d love to. There’s a great coffee shop just around the corner. B: Great, let’s go. I could do with a break from the office. …. A: So, what’ve you been up to lately? B: Well, I got a promotion at work, it’s a great position but I’m just getting to grips with the new role. A: Wow, that’s great, I’m so pleased for you. B: What about you? How are things at work? A: Actually, I’ve been applying to a few new companies, I need a new challenge. I’ve got a job interview next week, so we’ll see how it goes. B: I’m sure you’ll get it, with your qualifications they’d be crazy not to hire you! A: Well, fingers crossed, it’s better pay and closer to home, so no long commute… if I get it. B: Sounds perfect, a shorter commute makes all the difference. Look, why don’t we get together for lunch, say next week? when we have more time. A: Yeah, I’d love to. Just text me when you’re free and we can go to that little Italian place. B: Oh yeah, amazing. I’ll check my diary and drop you a line later. A: Great, look, I’d better get back to the office, I’ve got a meeting in half and hour. B: No worries, it was great seeing you. A: You too, look forward to catching up properly next week. B: Me too. Cant wait. A: Take care, B: See ya. FOR LANGUAGE GLOSSARY GO TO THE DESCriPTION BOX

Hi... Leila, so happy to see you again dear... Last few weeks were bit sorrowful for me as I loss my brother in law of a sudden heart attack and I was very busy with his funeral arrangements and also had to stay beside my sister for few weeks after the funeral as well...The fact that I had to be with her cause she got nobody else in here, but me, dear... 😢❤️❤️🙏 She was heartbroken last few weeks but now she has gradually settled herself into normal life with the passage of time... I took a break as well and got back to my cousins tea estate in upcountry to have some much needed rest and relax... 🍵😘😘❤️ Hope all.is well with you and Sabrah and pass my loving regards to Sabrah as well... Tnx for the lesson too and watching your lessons literally take away all my blues, no less... Take care.. and Winding off with much love... Yours loving... "Gams" ❤️💕❤️

Excellent job Leila, I love this new format! IMHO, one that I'd find even more useful than this could be a dialogue between you and Sabrah with pauses after each sentence in order to let me repeat after the speaker. Each sentence shouldn't be too long and each pause should be timed accurately to give me the time to speak slighly slower than a native. Please note I wouldn't find it weird at all to play both parts in the dialogue at the same time, it's just a game to practice coversation, after all...

What a coincidence! I did debate in my English tuition class and my pronunciation was so awful because I was too hesitant and stressed to talk to all the other students. I was fuming with myself because when I'm alone, I speak English fluently and confidently. But thanks to God, I coped and talked quite well. And eventually BOOM! Your video popped up! 😂😂

Dear teacher, I think you touched the weak side of any learner of English nowadays.I found recently the fact of interacting with the media learning and avoid to be static. You can go further in this method by, for example letting the student find himself the response. You can also ask him to find more manner to respond and speak with many skills. It is an affair of technics which develop the brain. The lack of a speaking environment allows you to be on the weak side of learning English, and why not specialise in this side., Why not develop software with a new update in the art of speaking with different subjects.

I really like your contents but you have to reduce the intensity of your superfluous facial expressions and hypernasality as this eclipse the whole idea. Your twisting the speech with over articulation and intonation, it doesn’t appear as a tutorial but as if you are acting out in Drama Masks. Rest is good 😌
