Is it just me or the drums are the most underrated by fans part in Beyond Creation? I always listen (or read) to great comments about the bass or the guitar lines, but I do not read or listen comments about the drums, not outside a drum cam video... It bothers me, because Beyond Creation has included completeley awesome dummers and just a few give credits for it. I know that the bass is really enchanting, and the guitars too, but the drums are barely commented :/

+Allan Yoltic Godinez Thank you very much man! I think everyone makes a difference in a band but of course, I agree that a drummer is a big part of it!

Yes, everyone is important in a band. Each musician gives essence to the songs. Nice to write to you again, Philippe. Greetings from Mexico.

+Allan Yoltic Godinez Those people are below level. Only a higher grade musician can understand that drum plays a crucial part in BC. Not saying just drums, but all of the members are another level of justin bieber.

Is that the same ride on both sides or two different ones? Great playing by the way, I've been a huge beyond creation fan since i was 13, and i can't believe i haven't seen this video already.
Just wondering... is it harder for you to do blast beats with your left hand? Cause I always have a hard time blast beating with my left hand, just wondering :)

Chris NotReallyThatSweet Agreed. I noticed when he plays this song live and even here during practice, he just keeps wanting to go fast and sticks all sorts of superfast fills/rolls everywhere... I'm all for fast drumming but he just doesn't want to do anything slowly, and it shows. This guy is a beast for sure but I think I prefer Guyot (Beyond Creation's old drummer) a bit more for his cohesion.

Aleks Ulmer First of all, this is a jam, it's not a recording video or something like that, it's just for fun. And when you play a song that another guy wrote, it's certainly not the same (listen to our 2nd album ''Earthborn Evolution'' and you will understand what I mean). I'm a musician who likes to incorporate many different fills in my beats, it's important for me to show my personality. Playing a live song exactly the same as on the album is a little bit boring...it's a show! This song is like an ''open jam'' because Guyot did some impro on it, so I always reproduce it in this way! Well, It's impossible to be liked by everyone...to each his own!

Philippe Boucher This is true! Playing the same thing over and over as it was originally written would get really old, and I totally understand having fun in a jam. Don't worry, I am a big fan of both albums and I love your drumming compositions on the second one, especially "Earthborn Evolution" which happens to be my favorite song off that album. I am just so used to hearing the precision composition of the studio album that watching you play outside of the studio seems so vastly different from what was originally written and it "doesn't sound the same". I should understand that is simply a byproduct of playing live.... so don't mind my criticism. Both you and Guyot are musicians way beyond my caliber! Anyways, I look forward to the next album! Hopefully the new bassist is proving himself well ;)

Aleks Ulmer No problem buddy, don't worry, you are free to think the way you want ;) I always respect criticism! it's helpful for a musician to know what people think about you!

the blast beat in is a little slowly than the original song...strange no?
