I am going to look into this but any hints or advise would be massively helpful. I have been working in accounts since 2013 from payroll to VAT, bookkeeping to accounts prep and CT...starting to turn my focus to advisory as I know this is super valuable to client's. I have a small portfolio of clients to manage now which I love but feel restricted as I work for a firm. The dream is to have a firm where I can provide client's with as much value as possible....and for that firm to then be profitable enough to help fund new kind of schools across the UK.....huge dream....but baby steps ❤. Thanks for all that you do.

I think that you can just register as an agent with HMRC for all the services and then they will regulate you for AML. Is this the case or am I mistaken?

Hi, I have a question if I may plan to work with Big 4s in audit or financial managment domain do I need a practicing certificate or are there any restrictions in working these domains?

I got just Level 2 in Accounting and I just got myself registered by the HMRC as a "Tax Agent" also I registered myself by the Anti Money Laundering scheme. So now I can have clients and submit basically anything to the HMRC on my clients' behalf. Please help me out ...!!! What do I do wrong ?

Can i open a UK accountancy firm from overseas?

I have an ACCA qualification, but since I lack practise experience, I will not be able to obtain a practising certificate. I am an industry qualified accountant with more than 5 years of experience; is there a way or fast track to accountancy practise for person like me? Without prior experience, it can be very challenging to land a job in practise. The other option is to start out in a junior position to gain entry, but doing so would require a significant pay cut, which is not practical given the current economic climate.
