  So when you enter on the bank rec for the who, what, why it’s actually a journal for expense and income is it? I guess all the bill and invoices are supposed to be entered before bank rec. so what’s left is like bank fees and interest and etc

  The bit about qualified isn’t true- there’s no rule that says you need to be a qualified accountant to provide accountancy services.

  Hi, can you help me how o record transactions from 3rd party app like deliveroo, just eat and Uber. As the sales go directly to these companies account and they take their commission and vat on commission and we receive the amount afterwards. So how do we account for the commission and vat taken by these companies as they do not reflect in our account.

  I have started a new business and we use SumUp. I have integrated Xero but have no idea how it works? It seems to be much different to a normal bank account. All seem to get are invoices sent through from SumUp and can’t reconcile transactions. Please could you help!

  Just discovered your videos and must thank you (also subscribed). I've been in business for ~20 years and always just let the accountant figure it out (but he doesn't use Xero). Fast forward and we sold that first business. During the sale process it became clear how poorly we had done our accounting for so long. I also didn't like waiting on the accountant to provide his numbers vs what I was seeing. Now, we've got another (smaller) business with much easier accounting, and I'm focused on cleaning it up. Do you have clients in the USA? Idea for videos: dealing with multiple bank accounts and reconciling accordingly; also, many small businesses have loans, so a quick how to set those up and reconcile them as well, would be important to me personally.
