Well done. You've got this. If you don't have a set try to play air drums lol. Try the simplest rythm. In the drum set you have to cross your hands. Your right hand will play left (high hat) and your left will play the snare bellow. Push your right foot to the ground to play the boot (bass) there's a lot of videos to show the simple rythm. I started when I was 13 too. It's totally worth it. Keep this up.

Ha! 59 and never played an instrument! Thank you for this. First day and I am picking it up. I can get to sixteenth notes. Great video. I hope there are more to follow!
Took me a day in a half to get 32nd!!!!!,With eyes close focused!!!! Thank you great beginner exercise.
Picked up the drums for the first time last year at 30 years old and now focused on learning rudiments. These videos have helped so much. Thank you 🙏🏼
Starting to learn drums at 29! It's been a lifelong dream of mine. Please keep your fingers crossed 💖thank you for spreading your knowledge
OMG! My son and I are learning how to play drums and your style of “play along” really helps.. I hope you have more videos on other rudiments. Please! Thank you so much for this!
I’m 37 and just started to learn! This exercise is great.
Gawd I love these lesson. You get to it right away and they’re great follow along videos. Keep em coming.
Great video! over 40yrs , just starting to play the drums! Midlife crisis in da house!!!!!!!
Hey Mike your material is FANTASTIC! I'm a novice drummer that was struggling with these damn paradiddles.. Countless youtube instructional videos later, I ran into your system... Similar to the three stroke roll... I have 3 words...WOW!! Thanks Dude!!
Your demonstration is Excellent. High stroke followed by two lower strokes nice…seen at faster tempos. I was taught that double strokes may be played at lower level closer to the drum be it rolls or paradiddles.
Thank you so much for your lessons! It really helps me to start practising, because I don't know where and how to start! I wish you really good progress and art inspiring! And lot of money from your favourite deals!
OMG i love this so much, the fact that i can practice together with a video makes it so much better! Would you consider making practice-along videos like these with alternating accents?
Ty so much Alejandro the king of drums!!! (Muchas gracias Alejandro el Rey de bateria!!!)
Just picked up sticks and a practice pad today. This is a great help. The 32nd beats are hard. Ill keep practicing though. Thanks for the video!
Thank you so much for this 💗
This is fantastic, thank you!
Helps to close your eyes on the 32nd notes for the ones starting and just feel it..takes alot of work, practice,. Great vid

This is a great idea. Might I suggest you use lower case for the non accented strokes?
Ayer estaba viendo videos similares, pero mejor voy a practicar contigo xd
Nice video
I am improving drums especially when I get to know paradiddle patterns but i am also struggling in 32 notes
Is there a way/tricks/steps to get in the 32th notes with paradiddles and doubles. I've been practicing with these videos but can't keep up in the 32th notes

32nd beats are so hard
Hi nice cover
How are you playing 32nd notes?
I started learning drums 2 weeks ago. Today I could hold a paradiddle at 160 bpm after 2 weeks. The key was accenting the downbeat on 1, raising my stick after 2, and practicing to kpop music LOL.

Im left handed and i can keep up with these but my right hand is just a tad weaker than my left making the strokes sound inconsistent. Off to find left hand strengthening routines
32 notes are tough
Bro que la bateria TAMA es buena maquina
What sticks are you using?
Please someone give some drum lessons to this guy
❤️
After a while it gets confusing like when you keep saying the same word over and over😆
Yikes, starting at 65... Born with an exceptionally good ear and so the beat goes on.
I love this. What's the secret to play 32nd notes? I can hit up to 16th notes both paradiddle and Doubles.

Just raw practice, i cant even do 16th at the start but i keep practicing at slow tempo, control should come first and then speed comes naturally, i could hit 32nd pretty comfortably now Hope it helps😊

Hi
What do 8th notes mean?
@lalruatdika2494
3 ай бұрын
The tick tick sound is a Quarter note (¼) when you add a note between each tick tick sound it becomes 8 note, and if you add another total of 8notes again ut becomes 16th note and so on
Hi Steve a suggestion I'm Brazilian and I would like to watch your videos but unfortunately I don't speak English you could put the subtitles in Portuguese ONLY A SUGGESTION
