I can vouch for JR’s coaching which helped my balance immensely. It’s amazing how important balance is, and I just couldn’t figure out how to fix it. I signed up for virtual lessons, and my first video he gave me a very specific and helpful correction for me to visualize and practice, and it immediately solved a big balance problem. Great vid!
A coach once told me to keep the thumb on my balance arm aimed towards the floor. I have found that this has helped me with my balance, scores and making ten pins
When I start falling off to the right it's usually me throwing the ball WAY too hard, I soften the throw and make it more relaxed and the shot comes back and I look like a statue on the fowl line.

I've noticed that many people that fall off their shot to the right (right handers), have a tendency to reach out towards the target rather than having their body aligned with the swing.

JR does looking down the lane further affect your balance? I normally look at the dots between the foul line and the arrows and balance is good. If I want to throw with more power I move my feet quicker and look at the arrows which throws my balance off more often than not.

Stay in the shot until the ball hits the pins. That's a great mental cue to make you think 'the shot isn't over until the ball disappears into the pit.'
I have the same problem in my practice I keep my eyes on my mark on the floor Intel I hear my ball hit the pins then I look up and step off my finish

Sounds to me in the beginning you're just full of excuses. Just kidding JR 😀 I have been doing the same thing where I come up out of the shot and don't stay down. I have been working on this, but there are still times where my mindset isn't totally focused. Like Mr. Miagi said..."focus Danielsan. Stay focus." I have a certain ritual I go through for every shot. I try to make sure I do the same thing each time I bowl and make sure the mechanics are there, including staying balanced. JR, I hope you and the other bowlers out there as well improve your balancing acts, so to speak. Love your videos JR. Keep bringing them, bro.
I don't stare a target down. I aim at the arrows but im also half glancing down at where the ball breaks at the end of the pattern.
Any advice how to improve my release, i always drop my ball early that cause too noisy

Make sure your finger and thumb holes are properly drilled for proper fit. The thumb and finger hole span could be too wide. I had to shorten mine a bit for better control. Check into that.
Here's a question for the group: I've never "stuck a landing" - I have a lot of slide because I have to have the most slide heel/toe combos on the shoes. If I even switch to go up one level heel or toe, I face plant (literally). So, how do I stick a landing without falling on my face?

Strictly a guess here, but it sounds like you’re ending up with your center of mass way ahead of your plant foot. Maybe record some video from the side and see if at the end of the shot your body is straight over your foot or not. Also, maybe, you’re too vertical at the end and now keeping your center of mass low enough.

Are you stepping/pushing into the slide with your knee behind the toe, center of balance behind the knee, and using your knee to absorb some of the momentum/get low at the line? Or are you more skidding with your center of balance above the knee?

@@sportsfntc The first. You should step into the slide with your knee behind your toe, the ball of your foot making contact before the heel, pushing off with your other foot. As the slide slows/stops, your knee will bend more, absorbing some on the momentum, and bringing you in smoothly to the line for release. If it feels more like you're ice skating on your full foot, I'm guessing you're more along the lines of the latter, especially since you describe the feeling of face planting with the slightest friction. I got my husband to kick the "skidding" habit by having him take a longer step with slide foot, ensuring that his center of balance was behind the slide foot, rather than on top of or in front of it. It should smooth your entry at the line and help with balance and consistent release and targeting. It worked for him. He's also able to post his shots 99% of the time now. It should feel like you're intentionally sliding rather than it just being a consequence of having smooth shoes on a slippery surface, and the knee bend should help you get lower to the line as well. I don't slide. I don't even wear slides on my shoes. I'm able to step in and do the entire motion, smoothly with a controlled stop, just using my leg. That's just preference for me though. I can build more power without the slide, and I'm rev dominant, so I need all of the power I can get lol. When I did use a slide, and I finally learned to do it right, my balance and control increased immeasurably.
Any advice for 2 handers?

Most of the time 2 handers have their trail leg/shoe off the approach. I remember a period of time when Belmo was experimenting with keeping his trail leg shoe in contact with the approach ... he was rolling it well, but has since gone back to allowing it to naturally come up in the air. The key, I believe, is to keep it in a range of 8 to 10 inches. If it gets much higher than this it will negatively impact your balance. I put a an empty bowling box on the approach between the gutter caps as a maximum height reference for the 2 handers to use as a guide.
