This type of math test is useful if you plan on applying to a union or plan on going into the trades. No calculator allowed. Multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank math test. Great to hear
Just took the IBEw test yesterday; it was 100% Algebra 2. All formulas. The pressure was INTENSE. No arithmetic, no geometry, and no Algebra 1.

Can we always start by dividing the base by 2 when we try to find the area of a triangle?

I'm pretty sure I did it correctly with an answer of 72. Parenthesis first, then add or subtract from left to right

@@ColfaxMath Why do you add or subtract from left to right and not do the addition first then subtraction like in PEMDAS?

@@SoloQSigma because it starts with a subtraction first so you start with that one before you do addition In Pemdas addition and subtraction are ordered in same group just like multiplication is with division
