Cool video! I really enjoyed it. Clear instructions, not too complex and very practical!

An acceptable, working option, but as you found out hard work. For the weight of a GriGri and Tibloc a much easier system could be setup - one that allows lowering of the injured person - say if they got jammed on something. From a crevasse you would almost always want to raise the victim - but you should consider that lowering a casualty may be a better option, in some circumstances.

Great video on the construction of the pulley system. A slightly different method of pulling is to attach the rope you are pulling on to your harness, and then lower body towards the ground and run repeatedly away from the load. This is much easier than using arms to pull the load - especially if the load is very heavy.

Ed Prince makes a good point, but you must remember to not overshoot (go past) the anchor as you may pull it out.

Can you please explain this? It is assumed that all the force is directed towards the victim and concentrated on the master biner. Im not clear on how its possible to apply force in the opposite direction.

I've seen this before too. By getting low to the ground you are minimising the upward forces on your anchor. But basically instead of pulling with their arms they could have clove hitched the pulling strand to harness and walked away from the crevasse, resetting when needed.

interesting set up, I would have use a munter hitch for belay and avoid the 2 back up prusiks, also probably use a second anchor, regards
