how did get the 17 used to divide 95000 please i did understand that

The number of years which is 3 years was subtracted from the original useful life of the asset which is 20 years to give u the 17years 😊😊😊. Hope that makes sense

But is it mandatory to transfer the additional depreciation from the revaluation reserve to retained earnings?
