I can barely hear any difference from the Running Wild version. The vocal is pretty much the same.

This is the first time I'm hearing this cover. I've loved the original for a long time now. I understand why lots of you might like this one more, It's more polished and clean and if you love Powerwolf they can do no wrong. However I prefer the original a bit more for being more rawand for being the first version I've heard

Well this version is if course another genre. Since Power Wolf is melodic (epic) power metal and Running Wild is basic power metal no keyboards to be exact!

Using English grammar would be "conquistadors" because the word they are borrowing is "conquistador" so it's correct even if in Spanish would be "conquistadores". Take into account the word "atrezzo" for example, in Italian the plural would be "attrezzi" but in Spanish we don't use that but "atrezzos" and that's it. It's the same thing in English.

Pedro H. Campos Africa and America were already violent, European imperialism is nothing new, just on a larger scale. The modern nations of most continents were built by those Europeans, not natives who to be honest accomplished very little in terms of development (America and Africa) . Africans have no excuse for their backward ways either, they had both Arabic and European influences and still managed to flop, very few benefits to humanity with the most influencial Africans being born and raised in the America's. Especially USA. Anyway, European imperialism long term progressed humanity centuries ahead. Viva Europa.

American and African empires were just pathetic in comparison to Europeans. Take western Africa for example, both Mali and Songhai empires controlled a landmass the size of the whole of western Europe combined with a rich environment that supplied basically all you need for a prosperous civilisation. Imperialism has launched us forward in terms of development across history, Europeans were simply the last ones who created the globalised world you seem to take for granted. In terms of Christianity, the argument used to ban slavery on a universal level to which had never been seen before was based on Christian values. Thanks to European imperialism slavery which had existed for most of human history ended. Humanism has its roots in Christianity as well. Those fairy tales inspired millions to stop slavery, something no other religion was able to do. Viva Europa.

the conquer by the portuguese and spanish peolpe was something good for central/south america, but done in a very dirt and bloody way. ( I´m brazilian, sorry for commenting in english, i do not speak spanish )

You don't use the native language's grammar when you use a foreign word. So since the text is in english, "conquistador" and its plural are subject to the rules of English grammar, hence the omission of the "e". It's similar to english words in German, where, for example, the plural of "hobby" is not "hobbies" but "hobbys".

@@t.t6 The Portuguese conquistadors went to Amazonia we reached the pacific, we met the Polynesian (Maori for ur) and they went to the tropical florests of South Africa. Kinda badass because they were in hostile climates that they weren't used to and they had to fight the natives too in a place so different from their homeland

Nice cover but drums sounds too much aggressive. Original is far better because all instruments and their own lines are equilibrated in a harmonic sense, not just about volume.
