Yup. That EFFEN bolt! The one that goes right around where the muffler meets the header.... was so tight that I stripped the head. Grr.

Really should mention you need an EJK with a full exhaust and air filter

thx for upping..... normally i like if the bike look original from outside....so the police will not ask me for some technical paperwork like they often do, would be better if there is a screw on the front part to put the plastic part back in place

These crf's need a STIFFER rear shock! If you're not a 150pound asian kid, you're in for a big surprise riding this bike! haha

when putting this pipe on stock header, do u need to do anything to bind them together? or do u just slip on, bolt on and good, no silicone or anything like that to seal it?

the part he pulled out is the flange that will mate with the stock headers. So BOLT AND BRAP MY FRIEND

What about taking out the baffle does that make it move faster cause I'm thinking bout getting 1 and sound pretty quiet

I know i'm late but just incase you didn't get it yet. Yes, if you pull the baffle it sounds alot better on stock but the fmf still sounds much better.

I think something important to viewers who may own this bike might care to know. Your estimate of 30lbs for the muffler seemed high to me, upon reading around the internet I found a couple different mentions both being in the 13lb neighborhood so because thats a big difference in your estimate (please corrrect me if i'm wrong). So it looks like with FMF its going to save you around 8lbs or so from stock.

How horsepower has increased after it?

Interested to install a FMF Q4 slip-on my Rally just for the sound - am curious before I do so what affect does it have on mileage? Does it drastically reduce MPG from stock?

No. If you have a fuel controller, that will though.

Does this exhaust improve torque? Just bought this bike as a second bike for some off roading and commuting, really like it but needs a bit more power and acceleration. If I buy and install this fmf exhaust system, will I need to do any fuel remapping? Thanks for the vid.

@@mtube620 you can put a 13 tooth front sprockets on a stock crf250l and beat your bike. Especially the 2017's and up.

My bike came with the FMF pipe..

Bike is much louder now, meaning, bike is now safer (loud exhausts are a safety feature).

Don't you need a programmer now since you have changed the air flow? Wont you burn out the injectors if you don't increase their output to match? I'm no mechanic...I'm regurgitating words that others have told me so I sound smarter. but, do I need a programmer? like this one Honda CRF250L Fuel Injection Programmer 2013-2016 EJK 9110028 ?
