Good old North dakota won't stop snowing this year !

After the first use I change the oil to get all of the metal out of the oil from break in you will see a good amount and it only takes half a quart

Great advice I'll drain mine out tomorrow!

Pick up a new auger belt and set it on the shelf. When they break and they will break you have one ready. Napa belt will not work properly on this unit

Others have stated that it's a nightmare to get replacement parts for this unit. Can you confirm this?

No it doesn't that was my one knock on it

Powersmart are garbage. Never even gonna buy one again. Nothing but problems. Fouls out sparkplug, snapping belts, clutch slips, now carb is clogged or broken. All in 3 years. I am a mechanic so I know im not over doing things.

Interesting, mine has been running strong, I've only had to replace sheer bolts on the auger because I rammed it into some really hard snow drifts
