This is a nice change. It allows for smoother transitions between different forms.

Does mangle need to go off in order to swap to bear? Or can you just press it from afar

This is a really cool concept for hero class, much better than some other classes designs.

I would love if druid had a choice node for both forestwalk and fluid form on both the middle/right side of the tree.

I love this, it will kill my keybinds though =). Now you have to have a keybind for every ability..

The only reason that talent exists is for Druid of the Claw's Wildpower Surge ability so you can use Mangle faster without losing damage from spending the proc, otherwise why wouldn't you just Frenzied Regen in Cat or manually swap to Bear to Frenzied Regen? Mangle does 0 damage anyway. As for Rake to go to Cat Form you can do that already with TIger's Fury, Prowl and Incarn without it costing a GCD and they don't require you to be in melee range. Honest question, why would we need to talent this ability if we're playing Wildstalker?

Plenty of time you’ll need to leave form to land a clone and also tigers fury isn’t up every time you want to shift into cat. Barely at all actually. This talent gives huge value for saving GCDs on damage

Druid has some of the least amount of keybinds across all classes, we lost buttons going in to DF from SL as Feral.

Yea I'm still not sold on this talent tbh. If the point in going bear is to press FR, you still need to wait a global to press it regardless(either press bear form, wait, and then FR. Or with fluid form it's Mangle, wait global, then FR). Not to mention you need to be in melee range which means you're still gonna need an extra keybind, one for bear form when you aren't in melee range, and one for mangle when you are. So basically you get some extra pathetic damage when shifting if you're in melee range. The bear to cat form with rake can be nice to get a bleed up a global quicker, but if I'm out of melee range I'm just going to press cat first while I make my way over instead of waddle in bear form so that I can shred/rake. I just don't really see big value in this talent outside a few niche scenarios. Fluid Form needs to just reduce the gcd on shifting or remove it altogether. I'd rather have Forestwalk back in the same position.

This talent effectively replaced a shapeshift macro. Whether people like it or not, that's basically what happened. Yes taking shapeshift off gcd is more desirable but clearly that's not what Blizz wants

Seems like a gameplay change of this magnitude should be baseline for druids and not a talent.

Ok correct me if im wrong this is same as usual shapeshifting but you gain 3 new keybinds and as a reward u do 5k dmg everytime you "powershift" with fluidform. I really dont wonna shit on Snupy but this guy gets hyped about things that are not only badly designed but are completely useless. I would not be picking that.

Its not the same! Example if im bear form and want to go cat and rake its bear-cat-rake now its bear-rake you skip a global and it also gives combo points same with shred, its not crazy strong but for 1 talent point id say its worth it

I feel like this talent should just be baseline tbh

unless im missing something, this can just be done with macro.

Why not just take shifting of GCD like it used to be...

Just take shift off the gcd....
