Hadyn's approach to his training shows perfectly that even if you know what you're doing, having a coach can be super beneficial. When performance is climbing there's no reason to make major changes to the program whatsoever. Let the body adapt and reap the benefits. 🤝

For me it's the top 5 percentile. I like to try various things and to became better at all of them.

Yeah I've heard that if you can squat 1.5 times your bodyweight you are in the top 10% of men and some of us can do it five or more times. Recently there was a Nordic hamstring curl Championship going on to get the most amount of repetitions in 60 Seconds and although I didn't get half of what the winter got, apparently I was in the top 1% so that's cool

I like the 95% thing. I think I’d rather be in the top 5% of multiple disciplines, then top one percent of only one.

Nice, maybe most people are actually like me then. The thing is top 0.1% of something could get you very wealthy if you picked like a normie sport, powerlifting you'll still be broke haha

Regarding the 100kg bench being a big milestone, I feel the same way. When I hit it I though I was the man, now I am not satisfied with 130, chasing 140. And when I hear some dude bragging about 90kg bench, I'm like, go put your diaper on 😂😂

  • @HadynWiseman

Yeah there so many levels of lifting haha. The strongest people are normally not in commercial gyms either so a 90kg bench there is quite respectable

As for me it would be being in the top 0.01% rather than the top 5% in many skills and the skill would be rugby either fly-half or fullback for pure skills/explosiveness or flanker for pure power. Squat moved well regarding the "shitty" day in term of workload and bad sleep. Hope the workload have slow down a bit and you are able to rest.

Thank you, it will slow down a bit next week which will be nice. I don't know much about Rugby but that's an interesting answer for sure.

what belt squat handle do you use ? I stand on 2 plyo boxes with weight hanging from spud Inc belt but your setup looks much easier
