Always watching this before a meet. Legends of 2000s and 2010s: equipped powerlifting golden era. These were my early days in powerlifting. Now I'm 40 and still competing. Seeing the legends of my youth crushing it back their days gets me psyched up like nothing else. Tomorrow I'm going for nationals. And so here I am again!!

So I qualified for European Master 1 equipped championship in Luxemburg. I'm leaving this thursday and I'll be on platform on Friday. That's why, again, I'm here today, Thanks for the concern, mate.

  • @STYRUMBEATZ

without roids, yeah .. cause u monitor their bloodlevels 24/7 over the whole freakin year. 99% of those people are straight up liars, cause they can't keep up with people lifting more while taking the same, or even less steroids.

all I said was .. if gear isn't everything ... if it is than why don't you take them and break 500 KG deadlift record by eddie hall ? .. those other strongman do take gears too .. why can't they break it ? ... you must train properly as well .. yes steroid make you strong as fuck .... but not as strong as anyone in the video without proper training .. so ... take you filthy ass out of this planet sucker

@@roneaton9235 This was probably in his training for 500. Maybe the bar didn't have aggressive enough knurl, but even if it did he probably wanted to save the skin on his hands. I doubt Eddie has slender enough fingers for hookgrip so he would have to mix grip, which drastically changes the form and puts his bicep at risk. Also, I know he has torn his bicep at some point but not sure if it was before or after 500.
