its pretty normal for tablets and phones to last 10 or even more than that if you take care of your phone people think that their phone will last only 3 or 4 and my tablet is 7 years old my phone is 6 years old too!

Woah.. This is quite a nostalgia hit lol (Mainly that s4 lol) I had a galaxy s4 that was around for at least almost 5 years? I can't remember, the screen was cracked like crazy though, it looked like the inside of the screen was exposed, the best way to explain it would be "Oh hey, I can enter the world of the phone if I could fit" except somehow, that much exposure didn't kill the pixels, idk how. The buttons at the bottom were just broken to the point where the lights themselves were the only ones you could see, and I still kept using that phone for usual phone things. Only time it gave up is when my mom kinda slammed it to the ground out of anger. Screen fully gave up, while everything else survived. but that's when I ended up switching to an s8+ at a later point lol Sometimes I wish we were still in the era where that old style was common, Old styles often looked the best and futuristic. While modern styles just look plain. Which makes me wonder how these weren't swapped, as I'd be thinking that since we're now into the future to where we've got AI rapidly evolving, that those styles would make an appearance. Oh if only lol

My brother had the galaxy s4 before giving it to my sister and my dad had the galaxy s5 before also giving it to my sister I still have those but the s4 broke I think and only the s5 still works nostalgic good times.

2:32 if you wonder why the iphone 4 has the new logo but changes back to the old logo during boot is because the boot firmware is updated but the old ios version remains

At that year (2014), it was the first time being Android user after long time using Nokia products even other brands like Cross X, Siemens even ZTE Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and Galaxy Note 3 Neo were daily device before they dead (if at that time I use Apple products, maybe still working until now)

You can install Android 11/12/13 custom ROMs to your S4 or S5 if you want to or you can stay them with their stock rom.

7 or 8 would be a better choice because newer versions are laggy, and partitioning will leave you with no storage left for apps

​@@PokeysBut if you're using the 32 gb variant of S4 and S5, it will be better to upgrade to android 11 because these two phones use enough cpu and ram for android 11 and android 7 no longer gets youtube updates.

I didn't have the S4, but I _did_ have the S4 Zoom back in 2016. Now I use the A50 since 2023.

i ha(d)ve my s4 i9505, worst experience on lolipop, when i flashed custom rom 3rd time wifi stopped working porperly forever, phone is cooked now it doesnt power on, i also have xperia e1 but now with dead digitizer, worst android experience imaginable
