Great sketch. I like the way you paint the blocks of values and the low key palette that you use. ( though I'm currently experimenting with high key colours). The splashing thing though is something that I don't particularly like on any kind of paintings. It suits on some moody rainy cityscapes but is not needed IMHO on all subjects even if it adds texture.

Lovely painting is that a water colour pad your work is lovely ple answer back i big fan and watch all your video s brilliant

You get reluctant to paint yourself because of protocols and rules must be observed, such as, working transparently, not using opaque colors, rules rules, but the way you paint is more attrackting and invites to paint again. Thank you.

Thanks for a wonderful video during my morning coffee😊. That's lovely. Are you painting on regular paper, btw? I'm curious since I love the idea of the journal but in watercolor (cardboard) thick paper its expensive and not flexible...
