Wow. I flew the Lufthansa 747-8i from Frankfurt to Los Angeles. I flew in business class downstairs. The 747 is so beautiful

@@lambda.plays.game_ so your first example, the airplane got shot down, second example a pilot had made a hard landing and the aircraft wasn’t repaired correctly and your third example a pilot took off without a clearance. So all 3 had nothing to do with the type of aircraft, the exact same thing would’ve happened if all airplanes involved were a DC8 or an A340. 🙄

What impresses me the most on planes are the engines, that's a lot of thrust right there.

30% quieter...and annoying frequencies removed.

Every time on a 747 I thought the thing was never gonna get airborne. Taken off and landed at SFO so many times. It's always a scenic departure. Worth a window seat selection there most of the time.

My first flight was on a 747-200... Once bitten, forever smitten! That take off roll was amazing...

The amount of power the 747 have is crazy 🤯

"the Boeing 747 takes off at 180mph at full power" Nah that looked more like a 220 mph take off to me!!

Imagine if 747 had the GE9X engines!

747's has been queen of the skies since PANAM 1970 flew the first 747's. PANAM had the jumbo jetliner built specifically for the PANAM Airline.

Whoops! 'Left side of the plane taking off away from San Fran Bay, from Runway 28L. (The northerly of the two main parallel runways, which are about 2.25 miles long.) Since these parallel runways are about 750 feet apart they can accommodate virtually simultaneous landing during VRR conditions. i understand that takeoffs are usually somewhat staggered especially if there are concerns about 'wake turbulence' from 'heavy' (widebody) and 'super' (A380) aircraft. 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦

why those leading edge Krueger flaps? extended on takeoff ? thot used on only for landing to help stall wings and lower landing speed... more drag on wings ...? I don't get it how come they're not used on other jets?
