Assalamu alaykum WA Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhū, I have some questions: 1) What is the difference among Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi aur Hanabali a hool of thoughts and what is it's significance in Islam? 2) And what is the role or significance of terms like Ijma, Qiyas,Istidlal, Istihasan aur Istislah in islam? Please help me know about it in the words of scholar or share with me the proper texts which deals regarding these questions. I have a non-muslim friend who wants to understand about these. So I thought about helping him only with the help of what our scholars say about it. Note : I can understand English and urdu only Jazak Allahu khaira wa Baarakallahu feeka.

I recommend your friend to read these Verses from the Holy Quran: - Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah ; then He will inform them about what they used to do. 159 Surah Al An'am - Allah - there is no deity except Him. He will surely assemble you for [account on] the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. And who is more truthful than Allah in statement. 87 Annissa' - Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe? 50 Surah Al Mursalat - These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe? 6 Al Jathyah - Do they not look into the realm of the heavens and the earth and everything that Allah has created and [think] that perhaps their appointed time has come near? So in what statement hereafter will they believe? 185 Surah Al A'raf
