coffee dood me air pods aren't close. These are more practical all the way around. The battery life is better. It's pocketable if you don't wear painted on jeans. The sound is very private. You can listen to your music as loud as you need to no one will hear. So if you're on public transportation going to work like me. Privacy matters all around I've given my air pods to my son.

I just got a new pair of these beats air prod pro and gave my wife my old air pod pro. I feel these are much better fit for my ears, they can't fall out like my old air pod pro and the sound is much better. Great review! Keep up the great work!!!

and my left one is finicky about taking a charge....ill open up the case and only have one charged the other dead which is annoying but a 20 min charge can last a 3 hour flight so pretty cool to shoot hoops in

Powerbeats are my favorite earbuds. I had the last gen. I bought the new ones as soon as they came out. Great earbuds all around. Only draw back, the microphone picks up too much background noise. And there’s no transparent mode.

And the word Plus has been used in older iPhones and Samsung Phones, so it's not like those are more original. Companies like Oneplus can't a Oneplus 7 Plus because that just sounds weird. I agree the word Pro is overused but those aren't exactly direct substitutes.

I have these and they’re great. I agree about the bulky case but I realized they the battery life is so great that I never have to have the case on me. Great review and all points are valid after using them I feel the same way. I guess the only thing they could add to make it more worth the price tag would be an equalizer application to allow you to customize the sound.

Just got mine today! I love them, they don’t move at all and the sound is on point.

Sometimes I'm not interested at all in the product and just watch MKBHD because of the quality of the videos he pulls up. It's like 12/10

For me, the Powerbeats Pro was worth the money for me. The frequency response for me is perfect because I'm more of a bass heavy listener and I can toy with EQ to get the sound for classical pieces when needed. I also workout a lot and Airpods never cut it for me, I was always adjusting them but these literally dont move and it's amazing. So for me? $270 (after tax in my area) was worth every penny.

I appreciate this review. I just bought these from Costco yesterday. They were on sale for $149.99 ($161 after tax). So I think that the price-point is semi-reasonable now. The sound quality is great and they rest pretty comfortably on my ears. I'm going to give them a test run tonight at 24 Hour Fitness. I hope they hold up, because I'm sick of buying defective earbuds/headphones that fall apart after less than three months.

This was an excellent review. Thank you. These are the earbuds I need. I can’t keep AirPods or AirPods Pro in my ear for nothing!

As an audiophile, I was against Beats for years because I knew that they were overpriced compared to equivalent headphones in the marketplace. However, my mind changed after purchasing a pair of urBeats headphones. For the price, those headphones were great quality. Unfortunately they didn't last too long, so I decided to upgrade to these headphones with the hope that the price and assumed superior product would offer me and even better experience. So far I would have to say I'm not all that impressed. Main issues: headphones often don't charge in the dock (I often have to check that headphones are charging and adjust positioning if not), connectivity issues in high traffic areas (possibly due to signal interference), and I have to re-pair or factor reset device at least once per week. Things I like: comfort (especially for runners or gym rats), decent sound quality, control features on headphones, quick charge, and great case design. Overall: I would recommend for comfort, but not worth the price if you're concerned about sound quality and connectivity.

i recommend the jabra elite active series for workouts. i have the 65t and they are really good. good seal in the ear, good sound quality, interactive app (eq controls, etc), ambient mode (its ok), good mic and similarly priced to regular airpods
