I plan to get the corsair RM750e power supply for my gaming pc that is about 5 years old now the old evga one 650w was starting to reboot the pc randomly so its time for a upgrade, I made sure it was not software related since I had windows reinstalled and such and still did it. I am using a msi motherboard which is decent for the job. Hopefully it will function properly after the replacement is done.

I tried to clean my pc case and there is a mesh under my case covering my psu it had two sides one rough that if i touched it would stick to my clothes and one smooth i dont remember witch side to put it on please help.
So I only need the 1 cable that says cpu and I plug that into the 8 slots also what’s the other 4 slots beside it ? Is that where the PCIe cables plug into to ??
Awesome. Corsair's quick guide is a bit vague. Note. Regarding CPU power, my Asus motherboard (for an AMD AM5 - Ryzen 9 7900X) CPU has both an ATX_12V_1 and ATX_12V_2 where ATX_12V_1 is 8 pins and ATX_12V_2 is 4 pins. Depending on your power supply, the Corsair "+12V (EPS 12V) cable supplied by Corsair has a cable plug is designed to separate in two to accommodate 4 pin setups (see their instructions below). Note that per some posts, it appears that while ATX_V1 is needed, ATX_V2 may be optional and only be needed in some cases (such as heavy overclocking). Per Corsair, for the 2021 RMx series power supplies: 1. Make sure the power supply’s AC power cable is not connected. 2. Follow the directions in your chassis manual and install the power supply with the screws provided. 3 . Connect the 24-pin (ATX) cable to the motherboard. Connect the eight-pin +12V (EPS12V) cable to the motherboard: a. If your motherboard has an eight-pin +12V socket, connect the eight-pin cable directly to your motherboard. b. If your motherboard has a four-pin socket, detach the four-pin from the eight-pin cable, and then plug this four-pin cable directly to your motherboard. c. Some motherboards will require a mix of 8+4 pins, use as many EPS12V cables as necessary and do not mistake them for PCIe cables." 4. Connect the peripheral cables, PCI-Express cables, and SATA cables. a. Connect the SATA cables to your SATA SSD or hard drive’s power sockets. b. Connect the PCI-Express cables to the power sockets of your PCI-Express video cards if required. c. Connect the peripheral cables to any peripherals requiring a 4-pin connector. d. Make sure all the cables are tightly connected. Be sure to save any unused modular cables for future component additions. 5. Connect the AC power cord to the power supply and turn it on by pushing the switch to the ON position (marked with “I”)."

Is additional cable required for case RGB connection? On my computer, I connected the RGB cables to the motherboard, but the fans are not working stably. I tried to connect RGB cables to the PSU, but the input and output ports did not fit.

Tengo una mother asus rog b550-f gaming, tiene 8+4 conectores de cpu como se conectarían?
Quick question i have i9-10850 RTX 3060 can i upgraded my GPU to a 4090 if i get the right PSU?
so the power supply has 28 pins for the motherboard?? i saw 18 where it said motherboard and another 10 on the side, but then that goes to 24 pin for the motherboard?
Quick question, do you need to connect both the CPU Connectors on the MB?
Just to be sure, when you first unplug the power cables, you remove them from the case and you get rid of them to use the ones tham come with the new psu?

My rtx3080 neeeeds 24 pins :( so 3x8 .. i have only 2 cables .. but each has 2x8 pins . anywaym, they recommend to use 3 different cables but i have 2 only and the psu is semi modular. the main cables cannot be disconnected and the only ports where i could add another cable are called HDD/SATA and they each have 5 pins entry. Is is it ok to use a cable 5 pins from psu to gpu or to buy another psu ? ^^ thxxx

It is possible that you have the wrong end plugged into the power supply. You may need to flip the cable around. Other than that, does anyone else have any ideas?
If the ends of the CPU cable are different would you not explain how they are different and which end goes where???
