India is a diverse country and almost all the people of all religions and different communities live in india so to run a democracy in india it is necessary to share power among different organs or level in india power is shared through two types one is horizontal sharing of power and another one is vertical sharing of power in horizontal sharing of power equal power is distributed among different organs executive, legislative and judiciary and to balance the among these organs the concept of check and balance is adopted and in vertical sharing of power power is shared at different level national level state level and local level and this sharing of power every level of government has different power and distribution of power is not equal national goverment have more power than other level goverment of a nation and power is important because it reduces the possibility of conflict among different communities and good for the democracy
