Power of the Prologue: How Tears of the Kingdom Grips You

Ойындар

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's prologue proves just how far Nintendo has come with their tutorials. I discuss exactly how the prologue in TOTK is the best beginning an end could ever ask for.
Also, please bare with me, I just moved and got this greenscreen, so I'm working out the kinks on the new setup.

NO DRIP 💥 NO DEFENSE 💥 NO BITCHES 💥 had me ROLLING but also.. I am truly BLOWN AWAY by how your narration and scene-setting made me FEEL the dismay of a game I've never even played!!!

i'm so glad! i was worried that i was doing too much narration, but i really wanted to set the scene and convey just how emotionally taxing it was!

Great video! There's just so much to unpack from the prologue to TOTK. I Really appreciate how Zelda analyzes the Zonai wall carvings just the same as how fans analyzed all the teaser trailers leading up to the game's release.

Great video! TOTK’s prologue is fantastic, and the way so many details like the murals and Link diving to catch Zelda set up story beats that pay off to great effect later on in the game is excellent. I think people will be discovering all manner of cool details in this game for years to come.

thank you!! yeah the final catching zelda moment is surreal! i was blown away by so many details throughout the game, but i don't think i will ever forget how i felt playing the prologue for the first time and the way it felt to explore that area again hundreds of hours later!!

I think another topic that would be interesting to explore in a future video would be all the examples of parallel storytelling not just within TOTK but between the stories of both BOTW and TOTK. TOTK does so many callbacks to earlier parts of the story (some of which you touch on in this video), but there are a few moments like the secret ending that parallel BOTW’s secret ending as well.
