@@volvoman5262 In the original Japanese version of the game Vivian is referred to as someone who "appears to be a girl but is really a boy" according to her party member description and Goombella's tattle about her says "That's Vivian of the Shadow Group. She's the youngest sister... er, brother."

One of my biggest gripes with Sticker Star was how soulless and shallow it felt. It’s amazing that Nintendo actually listened and the TTYD remake is real. I never thought I’d see the day, and now it’s only two weeks away.

As a Catholic, I approve of the Reconciliation scene at the beginning! Nintendo does have quite a lot of repenting to do... This is also the first video I discovered on your channel, and it's great! Hoping you're able to keep up the good work! ...Also, is it sad that I don't know what a funnel cake is?

This is the only Switch game I'm buying more than once. One digital, one physical. Possibly even more times. We NEED more Mario games like this one, so I'm taking one for the team.

i feel like paper mario (esp. ttyd and super) is to super mario like what alternative rock is to rock n roll it wasnt made with brand recognition in mind, in fact its kinda the opposite, yet as a fan you can enjoy both in tandem (which is what nintendo misunderstood/didnt like) btw your channel seems really cool and your commentary was a lot of fun to listen to so imma subscribe in case you decide to upload more :D

I never had the chance to play this game back in the game. Gotta preorder this classic

what a wondrous video! i laughed, i cried, i reveled in the whimsy of it all. seriously though--i've never played a Paper Mario game myself, and this video has me bursting at the seams with excitement and anticipation for this remake. hope to get my hands on it and join in the beloved and incredible magic you make so lovingly clear in this video!!

I am buying this game. So my Pepere died of cancer and I was severely sick with internal bleeding and My pepere sent me birthday money before he died and I didn't know he was going to pass away so soon. Well I bought paper Mario the thousand year door for GameCube so now with pepere gone the thousand year door is a very special game to me.

I am excited for the remake! In the meantime. There are PM64 Mods to play! And Mods for me to make! I love Paper Mario. Espeically Modding PM64.

I just hope all the success that TTYD remake (hopefully) achieves is taken as a clue for Nintendo to make more things like it.

super paper Mario has an extremelyyyyy compelling storyline like I said! and I do find some of the characters charming! I think the pixls overall are less memorable individually than the first two games, but super paper mario was definitely the last bastion of creativity and soulful story in paper mario

They didn't lose woul, their other games never stopped teeming with soul, and for the paper mario series the devs chose to only use toads, nintendo didn't tell them to do it
