God led me to this man of God and His teachings just last week, I practically stumbled on his messages on here. I had stopped listening to sermons because I could sense the "mist in the pulpit", as Pastor Tony Evans loves to say! But the moment I heard this man speak, I knew I was led by God to one who still speaks the mind and heart of God. Thank you Pastor Evans!

I am convicted.

I been going through serious, frustrating, circumstances. I began to use foul words and esculated to ,"cussing" for last three days! I felt justified in doing it while I was doing it, because of the level of wrong doing, lies and back biting against me by a Christian relative( who is never wrong) and church leader(?)I've witnessed them do this to other people before. The Holy Ghost let me know today when I woke up, with this message, to check myself before starting my day. The Lord is speaking loud and clear! Thank You Jesus!!🤗

On January 17 1994 I was in a position where I thought I was going to get murdered....I was helping a stranger in the middle of nowhere...17 miles off the beaten path on a firebreak road...I picked up a hitchhiker and helped him out...ended up getting my truck stuck on a firebreak road...walked another mile to where their vehicle was and got four different stories from all four men as to why they were back there...I got paranoid and told them I am walking back to my truck to wait for them ....on my walk back I prayed to God in fear of my life in the middle of my prayer 3 flashes of light surrounded me and I felt a sense of comfort I've never experienced before...in that minute God sent 3 angels that was the flashes of light I mentioned.. .little did I know those four men were not my worry....While driving lead out I crossed paths with Satan himself .... walking about seeking whom he may devore. In the middle of the dirt road at 2:30 AM was a pair of flaming eyes that looked into my soul and then withdrew and walked away....while we locked eyes all I could see was blazing fire for an instant...God sent Angels to intervene ...

I would believe in this, but I have seen Christ bless people who have nasty, filthy, stankin' wretched hearts! People who never think of doing a kind gesture for others, other than to gain something in return for themselves, get blessed by Christ. i have seem people who never did anything for their parents and their parents bent over backwards for them and they couldn't do one single thing for them in return, I saw them get blessed with great jobs and sustainable finances! I know of people who don't believe in Christ at all and despise the conversations about Him, GOD still blesses them to live great lives! So even though I cuss and complain, I hope and pray that GOD still finds it in his plans for me to bless me any way!

God loves everyone even though people are selfish, use foul language etc. God is loving, patient, and merciful. No one is perfect and everyone’s journey is different and God see’s the best in all of us. One might use foul language, but be generous behind closed doors. An unbeliever might be wealthy, but lonely, sad and lacking in what only God can provide. I think that we should continue to seek God and have faith in him to help us be our best selves. We can’t do it on our own. I truly believe that his will will be done in our lives when we humble ourselves and ask him in faith, believing that it will be granted. I’ve definitely noticed this in my life.

God rains on the just and the unjust all of our basic needs are met according to him but remember Satan offered Jesus a world of stuff which already belong to him. There's a scripture that talks about fresh water and salt water coming from the same mouth, how this should not be. James 3:9-10. I've been really aware of my words...negative, critical, ungrateful, complaining. It can become a habit. One that needs to go.

It makes me sad that the body of Christ would laugh about being drunk, or that the pastor would assume his congregation would be drunk at times. It may be true for some, but alcoholism is a destructive habit for many. No laughing matter. We want to be real as Christians, but laughing about our sin is inappropriate in my eyes. Christ gave His life for my sin. I don’t laugh about my sin.

Alot these type pastors are so dated with their sermons and the way they teach hence explains why the church seats maybe filled but the Godly wisdom is lacking - because they (such Christians) should have conquered this world by now but Satan is having a field day due their LACK of faith and courage.
