We can see in ep4 s21 that ymir's titan was mainly used to destroy Marley. Eren could defend himself more efficiently with a more functional body . Rn all he is, is a structure of enormous moving bones with a helpless hanging torso connected to the body with the help of a long spine mainly caused because his head was severed and the spine was severely damaged before he could transform. People like him because of his more like a demon look that is kinda cool but those looks aren't really helping him.
