@@aladdin4516 I call BS though because it takes 2 seconds upon looking at that building to realize it is abandoned and has both no working electricity nor would it have an active communications line. At that point, you are far better off heading back down the road you came than to go into an abandoned building, possibly fall through a rotted old floor and break a leg in the dark where no one will ever find you.

Without the commentary it's like watching a movie which adds on to the scare factor. Either way, this is one of the best plays I've ever seen. The amount of work it took to do this flawlessly had to have worn you down. Although this game is good, the most f*cked up thing about it is that whether the player beats it or not, they die either way which kinda sucks. Still I have to take my hat off to you on this. You nailed it.

I used to watch Lets Plays of these back in 2019 while I lived in Korea (I was watching a shit load of scary Lets Plays and Starcraft 2 tournaments lol). This game literally gave me nightmares a few nights lol. DEF the scariest game, like, you can never rest nor have a sense of ease in this game. EVER.

I'm a die hard horror nerd, and this game....... it terrifies even me. Anyone bitching that its unfair, its totally the point, you're in some maniacs death trap. And seeing the "Sugar Tunnel" entrance with the smiley face is scarier than any horror film I've ever seen. Kudos to the developers who realized sound design is just as important to a scare as the visuals are, and kudos to you for beating it.

who ever made this music is a real genius. It's scary, but at the same time it's very catchy.

The scares are effective due to the -amazing sound design- sudden loud noises, however the gameplay looks very irritating; unless you've already memorised the layout it's basically pure luck to escape an encounter due to the abundance of dead ends and no recourse other than outrunning the killer. There's a big difference between a game that's difficult and a game that's unfair.

sound is vital to horror. just try watching or playing any film or game muted. the unnatural screeching and wailing is a step above other horror media that just plays the same sounds of women screaming.

FYI, a game can be incredibly scary without constant screeching and wailing and jumpscares. There's this thing called atmosphere, which this game has very little of. It relies on making you jump, but that's all it does. It doesn't give you a sense of fear or dread or terror; it just makes you anxious because you know you're going to get jumpscared again in about 10 seconds. It's also funny that you say this kind of sound design is a step above playing the same sounds of women screeching when, near the end of this game, all it is is the same screeching over and over again on loop. Don't bring shame to Solaire's name.

Katastrophecy this game drips atmosphere and has an effective way of filling you with dread before filling you with panic at the sight of the killer. it's this thing called horror that you let's play generation of kids cannot grasp because you don't actually play videogames anymore

Salute because people don't normally finish the game. Plus, there are no tips so you don't know what you actually have to do to win. Means that you have tried the game plenty of times where others would have quitted due to the scares or repetitiveness. There are also no checkpoints and you can't skip cutscenes which makes it even more annoying to play over and over again however you have done it. (y)

After multiple attempt die many time I finish the game because the key spawn different place evertime you die

I almost like how unfair this game is. It's like the ending is more of a secret for only very devoted people to find, and you almost aren't expected to win. It's just about getting the shit scared out of you, which will happen no matter how much you play.

I think these VHS horror games are some of my favorites when it comes to before bedtime scares. ^0^

Oh my God That place at the end was the orphanage. I feel like an idiot because I got this ending but never read those articles. Maybe the killer was one of the orphans who ended up working for the company before they decided to shut down the place due to so many loss of lives. I think he was responsible and hid the bodies down deep near his room. I honestly feel bad for the killer because if he is an orphan, then he should've had some amount of education but he only displays cries and whines like a child because that's all he knows. He was brought up to work and never taught how to speak or maybe he has speech impairment. Either way, he wasn't treated correctly and abused by the people who used him. If you got the bad ending, the first thing that happens is your locked in a cage. The killer approaches but his first intention wasn't to kill. He tries to communicate with his captured victim, and all she does is cry and plead for help. Him, being frustrated with the victim, turns on the one thing that soothes him. His music box. Then proceeds to kill the victim. What was the killer trying to say?

To Summarize: He was an orphan at that orphanage that got shut down and he was abused by the owner who commit suicide then he worked at the place and got it shut down he was the cause of the incidence then he used that building as a place to ‘abuse’ his victims like what happened to him as a child, he most likely had a speech disorder so when he tries to communicate with her while she’s in the cage and she won’t come down he plays the music to try and soothe himself/her but it doesn’t work so he kills her out of irritation and anger

Believe me, I died a shit ton before being able to pull this off. Just be at the ready to run, and try to avoid standing near the metal doors where he comes from. Knowing the lay out is another must.

Christ, flashing white screen borders contrasting with the dark AND the sounds the game makes when the killer's in pursuit (sound design was great--don't get me wrong--but still...)?! It's like this game's intentionally wanting to give migraines

Easily puppetcombos best game. The subtle details, the hidden secrets, the awful yet believable killer and the scary idea that this scenario is entirely plausible. Really takes me back to a "Texas chainsaw" feeling. A near masterpiece imo

it reminds me of an old retro game from the 90's like silent hill and resident evil.i love indie horror like that or if there pixelated.

Literally my favorite "Let's Play" page in general. No commentaries, flawless walkthroughs, you don't seem to be (too) affected by scares and excellent game choices. What you are not seeing in the video is the many hours, potentially days of practice and getting use to the A.I of the enemy. Markiplier and Pewdiepie do not have time to do that as they, being well established personalities and channels focus their attention on many other types of games and entertainment.

I love these games! It gives you a vhs vibe and like the old days playing when I was so little

So I will say watching this with high quality earbuds makes it so much scarier. Even though the end is vague I feel in the end she did get away. With the information provided it sounds like part of the building is still the opranage and a the fire I believe a child got left behind. It sounds like a child heavily crying even though he's a grown man, showing he never had contact with the outside world and never mentally mature. Just my take on it. Initially it believed the heart beat through the end scene meant she lived but after it stopped the crying started. I'm still unsure if the ghost of the little girl, the one that was kidnapped who most likely died, was leading her to freedom or her death. In reality either would fit but I personally believe that she did in fact survive.

This is the one game that scares the hell out of me, even before the jump scares happen

This is awesome, it's one of my favorite videos. I don't think this game was meant to be played. It's meant to be presented like this where you can see it's true potential. It's not long almost like watching a one-off episode or short film of a bizarre and scary story that's happening before your eyes. Masterful work from the dev and the uploader. 👌🏾

You're like a machine playing the game, the way you can navigate without looking, holy shit.

the audio is the most creepy part in all of this, masterpiece

This game is still scary no matter how long it's been since I seen a video. I give you props for playing it but i hate the feel of someone chasing me like that.

thanks for this amazing playthru, the no commentary adds to the effect of suspense since it's so quiet! So the true ending was just the protagonist unable to escape? I'm guessing that was the case, since I can hear screams/moans after the radio static :P

Both ending made me so sad Brooke died so as her boyfriend in both ending. 😢

@earrapekingdom its true, the music box was running. It used to calm him (the fuccboi killer) down, and we all know there is a death* sfx in the end. So it's probably the killer commit suicide.

sorry that im three years late but i have to give this dude some props for pretty much finishing every puppet combo game and other horror games as well

To be honest, the protag could've avoided this if she tried to get back up onto the route. If the car rolled down from the route, she could've followed the path of the wreckage and tried to flag someone down. Of course the Murderer might try to get her *maybe*, but she has a very high chance as to actually getting to safety.

These games are honestly some of the best horror games

DK Elizabeth she did, the groans are of the killer being upset for her escaping. This was the goos ending. There is also a bad ending, and there you find out the killer is autistic and has the mind of a child that explains the groaning

Wasn’t there a prequel to this game? Where a park ranger was taken by the killer and killed in a cage? Couldn’t that be his screams in the end and not of Megan’s ? And when they said there was a shirt and book bag in the woods missing from some campers, couldn’t that be the campers who radioed for help in the prequel game and in the “power drill massacre” these are the people that were possibly murdered by him?

Jesus fuck sound design in the game. Still spooked even though I am watching the other person play.

Whoever made those screams did a really perfect job. How would you even think to make a sound like that?

I like how everyone is commenting about the ending BUT ARE WE NOT GONNA APPRECIATE THE SKILLS OF RUNNING THROUGH THEM HALLS WITHOUT GETTING STUCK. THEY WAS SWERVING SO EASILY WHILE THE KILLER CHASED THEM. that's true skill my dude. I love it

These kinds of stuff always end with the killer screaming in agony weaker than last time
