It's just another facet of worrying about your continued existence.

Feels weird to have seen this grow into something way more polished, fleshed out story and voice acted for like more than half a decade, and officially released on consoles. I never would have thought Autumn Ivy and Sphere Hunter would be main character voices. I remember the killer having an echo effect, now he sounds like Muscle Man's whining.

If there is anything disappointing about this, it is that all of the endings are bad. It would have been nice to make at least _one_ of them good.

I always thought the same thing! Muscle Man is definitely under that mask. And we finally get to see that mom he always talks about. I guess all those jokes about her weren't exaggerations, she definitely smells like a pile of butts.

I love how playing these games almost fully immersed and in character has become like a fine art for scissormon, and it makes these games seem that much more polished and movie-like.

Apparently a parasite. Its the name of the achievement for getting this ending and you can see the parasite leaping up out of the vomit just before the cut to the title.

Funfact: this game had a fear mechanic like in Amnesia. Yeah, if you stare at the butcher doing something without him knowing you're there, or just stare at him long enough, not sure which, your vision gets blurry with blood slowly fading in around your sight. I'm not sure what else happens, as I stopped looking when I realized this, but it is in the game. Why it exists is beyond me, though, as it's unlikely that anyone would just look at the butcher long enough in gameplay. The only reason I did was because I had no idea how the AI worked and wanted to see if I could get an idea of what to expect.

So there is a good ending but it involves going into the basement the one survivor mentioned. I’ll be doing an alternate play though for that soon

Yeah.. there is an alternate ending with the potato sack head killer standing to the left of a giant Audrey II style meat monster (akin to *Feed Me Billy,* which this is linked to). I was thinking the meat monster impregnated you before you wake up (at 1:18), but Puppet Combo leaves it a bit too vague. There are 3 endings I know of: 1) you escape to the trailer park, meet afro dude from *Night Shift* and your tummy goes all *Humanoids from the Deep* 2) you wake up with Sack Head beside the Billy Monster.. don't remember if you die (I think it's implied you are fed to the monster) 3) the hard to find ending has you wake up in a hospital, only to go to sleep, wake up, everything is red and you get *Humanoids from the Deeped*

@@IBeSyd84i think the butcher made an incision on her stomach and placed some sort of parasite inside her or force fed her a parasite when she was unconscious, and even at the start of the game she says she feels very sick in her stomach.

I hope there is a update to save the injured girl you first you give her medicine and food, then you try to save her by picking her up taking her to the safe room and trying not to be caught by the butcher.
