Power Apps Licensing Explained

Can you explain the Power Apps licensing in a simple way? This is (by far) the most commonly asked question that comes up about Power Apps - here is my way of deconstructing it to make it easier to understand. NOTE: this is not an official Microsoft licensing video or guide - for the full details (or you have any more specific questions), please visit powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us...

I am new on this, , a question, what happend if a App that is in production change the environment in the canvas?
Thank you for helping the community Lisa! Extremely valuable information.
Thank you for this. How about this scenario: I have a desktop MS Access database. I'd like a mobile app that gives me read/write access to the same database to use within Teams. Not quite as full-featured as the custom Access db, but great for access to the same data on the go. I understand connecting them to SQL Server requires the premium Power Apps license and would price me out. I am considering Business Standard, which would have me using SharePoint. SharePoint has some limitations when using it as a back-end. What do you recommend and what kind of license would be required? Thanks!
If I have a per user license and create an application that uses premium connectors, and share it with other team members in my organization, will they be able to use that application with the standard license that comes with E3 subscription or will they need to have a per user license as well since the application uses premium connectors?
Thank you you just simplified this for me!!! Great job!
Ohhhh, Lisa Lisa. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Simple and straight to the point.
Thanks a lot Lisa! The best explanation so far!
Hi Lisa, so a company that already has an 'E3' level Microsoft license and wants to create a 'desk and room booking' (Canvas-based UI) PowerApp linked back to these resources built on Exchange would not have to pay any additional fees if I understand this correctly because that would be classed as a 'common connector'...
The video is very useful, one question if the business user already has power bi license ,is it required to buy power app license separately?
I’d appreciate if you can answer me. I created an app without using any premium connector, unless I’m accidentally used one, but there’s no diamond icon at my connectors. I want the app to remain standard in order for my users to access but the app has become Premium, any way to solve?
Thank You!
Hi Lisa, nice video. Thanks for taking the time to create it and your other videos. A potential client has asked me to create a him simple ordering system. He has a 365 Business Standard license. I have two questions. 1. How do I deliver the solution to him? Do I build it by logging into his 365 account and building it there? Or is there another (better) way? 2. Are there any hidden costs with using Dataverse? Thanks!
Hi, I wish you could help me with our use case. As understood, it is not possible with our use case? Here's our scenario/ use case:
I'm using power apps to create a flow and using dataverse as a database to store flow records with the help of a Microsoft Office 365 License. So, do I need to purchase power apps plans or not?
Hi thank you your content is per app allows unlimited users ?
Wonderful explanation!
