I think “Power 96-1” should’ve changed their logo before moving to the 105.3 frequency thinking that it’s a so called “high frequency”. I wish it looked similar to WPUP’s logo by using the “O” as power symbol.

Not sure this will do any favors for the radio station since they ratings are already pretty low, which isn’t that the reason why they changed frequencies however, what is iHeart media thinking downgrading the top 40 format to week or signal?

I hope they’ll keep the Power Mix

Good news: people in Anniston, Alabama and the Great Wolf area in LaGrange can hear a top 40 station from Atlanta on a regular basis Bad news: people in Sandy Springs and the NE suburbs can no longer hear a top 40 station from Atlanta on a regular basis WORSE NEWS: Not-So-Premium Choice 96.1 serves the market well enough. I mean, we already have V103 and 94.5 for hip hop right?

The 105.3 signal surprisingly gets out even up north and east. And you forgot Hot.

Atlanta still has Q 99.7, in which it is a hit music station.

@@armandovias You do have a point. Well at least this market isn't getting the *Z104 Washington* treatment (where much of Maryland and DC get hit music but large swathes of Northern Virginia get static and hissing)...

@@kstwwtto_1121Davon Not happening. Demos have changed significantly - the flip of Rock 100.5 showed that there’s not a big enough audience for it.

There goes the local programming...now it's all syndicated

There’s a radio station in Athens called WPUP and it’s overloaded in static. If you’re in Gwinnett County, you can barely listen to what’s playing on the station unless if you live the Hamilton Mill for example.
