Now I am going to tell you more about some oddities of food chemistry.

Well, while this style of voice over would be fine, I have grown to love the presentation in your own voice. I understand why it might not always be easy as a non native speaker, but it has grown to be part of the charm of this channel. Cheers!

I jumped in shock as soon as the narration kicked in. ... in addition, this food chemistry content is **chef's kiss** sublime.

AI is nice, but I'd rather listen Your voice! I loved at least "mmmm" during eating :) or am i wrong? Please return with your cool voice ❤
The whole thing sounds like an infomercial to me. Like others, I would very much prefer you narrate it yourself in the future if you're comfortable doing so. In any case, keep up the awesome work.
This is at least the second time we've heard a video with a voice over. It takes something away from the quality, somehow. Food chemistry is interesting though
I love your voice sir! While this voiceover is just fine, you really brought yourself to us and I liked that.
I miss your voice dude, but I'm grateful for your videos! I've been trying to imagine the purpose of the universe and chemistry was never my strong point. Your videos have helped me define many processes in the evolution of the universe!

Great video as always. It's a bit strange hear other voice because i watch your channel for quite some time now, and although the voice over is very clear, i do prefer to hear your original voice :)
Great explanations. I work in food chemistry. The powdered vodka one was interesting to hear
I logged in specifically to comment about requesting your voiceover back. I've been subbed for long enough to remember the previous time you tried this and having someone who speaks English properly just kills a part of the soul of this channel. We love your voice, please keep doing voiceovers yourself, if it's not too work intensive. I came for the science, but stayed for your cat at the end and along the years, I've learned quite a lot. I love your channel. Keep it up!
No offense to the narrator, i think the community watching you all love your natural english narration over anyone, your accent just fit the themes of your videos. Please just don't change it long term. ❤😊
Channel good; voiceover bad.
1. don't pour ANY fats down the sink. 2. don't get rid of bacon fat! Just spread it on anything as you would butter!
Thoisoi2, please bring back the normal voice. We love hearing you speak in your accent!
You changed you voice? I liked the other one.
Nice to see you back

Oh no I like your voice! 100 Yes to bacon spread. That is brilliant. "The Bacon Paste Company" On the vodka I can think of a scene in a movie where someone mistakenly swaps powdered vodka for heroin, cooking the vodka and injecting it only to get plastered. (Actually no one ever try this. You'll probably die. It's an imaginary movie scene.)

I must agree that your voice is better, the voiceover is good, but there is something authentic about you!
Yeah voiceover, but many reasons could be behind anything.! I do WANT a RadiaCode, would be some amazing information out there.! Cool, 10/10 stars. Every video a gem! 🙂 NEAL
Sometimes it's not about what you put into processed foods, but about what you're leaving out of these products. Like replacing eggs with lecitin, you're removing all the very healthy nutrition that was in the eggs.

The mayo broke. The cheaper the oil, the better the mayo; canola or soy is best. Oil, egg, little bit of vinegar, salt, that's all you need for mayo. No stabilizers, nothing else.
while i love the idea and it shows you really care, id much rather you did your voiceovers yourself again besides, you are at least for me easy to understand and your english is good! cheers :)

I work in textiles and we use Sodium alginate in dye medium, not food grade.. We also use locust bean gum for an acidic solution we use in a process, all food grade ingredients in that mix, but not editable.
Great video but you need your voice back
I thought I had the wrong channel at first. I miss the old Thoisoi voice over.
What a great episode with clear and interesting subject!
We all loved it the way it was. We like your voice. We don't judge you for speaking English as a second language. I can't speak any other languages and I wish I could. ❤

I agree with you but non native English speakers legitimately have a hard time understanding his accent though (people whose native language is from slavic language family can have very strong accent 😂). Imagine yourself being nonnative speaker of either English or his native language then you get the point. I think him being him is part of the charm but adding proper subtitles would be highly appreciated obviously 😊❤
Awesome work!
Nice how everyone comments on voice instead of commenting how informative and interesting the video is. Kudos for keeping my attention in every video I watch of yours.
I have always wondered, great info!
The new voice over is like watching english NHK videos
Wow, I love this kind of general chemistry videos. For the average person like me, this light chemistry topics is more than enough.
Hello Thoisoi, First of all I would like to thank you for your amazing work. I love your content and I don't always take the time to thank you for it that you deserves. Secondly, it is very interesting to hear from someone studying in the field. However, the examples of additives you picked and tone of your video can make think that all additives are harmless but there is quite some concerns about some, such as titanium dioxide or aspartame, which are plenty used. I think that a bit more of nuances/disclaimer would have been welcomed on this topic touching to health risks. Lastly, as most comments, I miss your real voice. :D Anyway, thanks for your amazing work, it is very interesting, I hope you keep on it for long time. Cheers
Where's the old voice ... I liked that one better!
Very neat, interesting and educational. I may fiddle with some of those things next time I am on a camping trip.
Your voice was what motivated me to learn chemistry. Plsss bring it back
Bring the Russian/ Estonian whatever accent back
While I am not overly fond of overly processed food , there are greater culinary sins . Of these , blithely discarding bacon grease is equivalent to Blasphemy . BTW , despite the new " voice " being rather unpopular , I think many missed that it goes perfectly with the theme of this video .
I like your natural voice much better.
Thanks for this video
subjective criticism: Your voice is better, accent and all. It gave the you part of the whole experience. I understand the need to explore new interesting ways of making your content, but im more used to the usual way of doing it. Maybe use a german accent on the voice? or tweak it to sound closer to yours? Regardless, I enjoy the content and if this feels better for you, I will get used to it eventually. nice video and keep on doing a great work!.
I miss your original voice but I support any choice you make for the benefit of your channel
I prefer the good old Russian-accent English narration. Part of the charm :)

Estonian I think
This video was MIGHTY interesting. I will try some very wacky stuff.
Banning powdered vodka was ridiculous. Here in the US at least, it was banned due to younger people sniffing it, which wasn't really a big thing to begin with, but you would have to sniff so much powder just for 1 shot worth of alcohol, no one was going to do that when they can just take a shot normally, and be drunk very very fast anyway. Imagine needing to sniff 20 massive, finger width lines of this shit just to get 1 shot or 2 shots worth of alcohol. Now I could imagine mixing in a small amount into cocaine, just for the hell of it, but it wouldn't really be useful.
That xanthan gum and water mixture looks like... jelly, you're right..
We want your voice original which was before. Please bring back the old style of narration.❤
your own voice with subtitles would be great, your way of talking is nostalgia for some of us in this channel
Great stuff man.
I can't watch your videos with someone else doing the voiceover, your accent is a LARGE part of why I choose to watch your science videos over the millions of others available, it gives your videos character and helps me to focus and hear what you are saying.. NEED to have your voice if I am going to watch these videos, this guy (no hate on the speaker) just comes off as inauthentic after hearing your voice for so long
Grate video man!
Loves the topic
I hope this voice isn't something you're going to be doing from now on. Your natural voice is one reason I watch.
Nah bro, please don't use voice-overs. Your accent is perfectly understandable, even for non-native speakers like me.
What material is that spoon made of? The spoon you used to put the mayo on the bread.
Dextrin is also used as soluble fiber. It is the sole ingredient in the Benefiber fiber supplement as well as store brand copies.
im pretty sure everyone loves your previous voiceovers. It felt more genuine and it's become an integral part of the channel. Please dont follow the same route Slivki show went. I kinda miss the old narrator on that channel
I was expecting erro eryone. Did you take an arrow to the nether regions?
Dextrin is great for black powder 😉
I watched his most recent video I literally had to backtrack to see when it had changed. I understand that this may make the workload easier for you but I generally prefer your own voice.
Ya! Who ever would know, that eating starch polluted vodka isn‘t a good idea?
I don't fear about any additive because I only eat food that I prepare myself without any chemical shit😂
This video really made me be interested in bromatology.
6:25 The creepy X-Files music you chose for the background isn't helping you make your case!!! 😆 Great video...
Awesome
The voice over was a surprise
Good to see you. New A.I. Voice ?
9:16 I think the video cut because that big spoon had the cinnamon challenge effect.
Your original voice is kind of charming. ANd I really love your "lipsinc". It adds to the personality of your channel. But the new voiceover style is also a cool step. I guess whatever you do, it´s cool because your videos are always interesting
I definitely prefer your normal voice! It's fun and has character!
Always great content. calcium chloride and sodium alginate and then you have gummy worms (add flavor, of course).
Super interesting video
amazing video
This new voice is a hell, holy moly!
this experiment with an AI voicover went better than the last one, but it just makes the video sound lower effort than they are. like those channels that just copy a bunch of text from redit and post it as a video. your own voice adds a lot to your videos.
that powdered vodka definitely shifted your voice :D
awesome vid
