Thank you for this. I've only seen one other person do this and it ended up being much more complex. This was so easy even I could follow it, and even though you didn't explain every single little step the process is simple enough to follow and get set up.

@@AlfredGGMC I’ve been going through your tutorial videos, and currently watching your ATM 8 and 9TTS series, to help me with some of the things I struggle with. RS is one of those mods that can be really simple or really complex if you let it and I’ve always let it get more complex than it needed to be. The way you explain things help me not get overwhelmed with everything you can do with it.

currently on my first playthrough of ATM8, having played none of the modpacks or really much modded minecraft before this. I've been watching the playthrough forwards, backwards, sideways and upside down with a wrench in hand while building some of these things and just wanted to say no matter how many times I watch the same vids they never get old. Really enjoying all the vids (I'm as caught up as possible), but had to pick one to comment on and it just happened to be this one. Thank you so much. Love the vids.

finally someone that explains it like it should be done. by the time your video was done i had the system up and running... fastest contraption ive been able to build to date, even finishing it before the vid was one :D

To automate wither stars, I would recommend using hostile neural networks so you only have to kill 6 withers!

Thanks for sharing this part of the autocrafting. I have been trying different ways to autocraft the Powah Energizing Orb that are easy to set up. And the way you have yours set up is much easier for me to remember. lol Thanks again for sharing.

Your automation setup for energizing orb is clever, this was helpful.

Just had one of the videos in this series pop up in my feed about a week ago, took a while to catch up to "live" but figured best to catch up before commenting on an older video in the series. Have to say your overall style of video is quite impressive. I've watched tons of modded series over the years, some people are better at story telling, others technical breakdowns, and others visually creative at building. You seem to blend all of those together. You get part story/humor, part howto/examples, and lots of interesting builds/designs. Just while catching up it seems like the channel went from 2k to almost 4k subs in a matter of weeks. Skys the limit, keep it up! I'd be surprised if the exponential growth doesn't continue, the quality of the content is just that good. If you ever get in a bind with powah, laserIO if it's in the pack also does a great job helping with automations. It's also lightning fast. I was messing with it in I think Stoneblock 3 or whatever the latest one of that was, and hooked that up along with a watch of flowing time for near instant powah conversions. Also one thing on the mekanism power tutorial. In the base version you had a botany pot on the compacting drawer, but then later added another to catch seeds. If that front pot is also producing seeds and the seeds if not dealt with will stop the botany pot from producing, then that layout will drop in efficiency by 20% once that front pot fills up with seeds since they don't have a way to get to the seed drawer in that layout. Small tweak of a 5th pipe segment and putting the pot there would fix that if that's a problem. Again, incredible series. Not sure I'll have time to go back and watch ATM7, but I'll be continuing to watch this and any future series you do. Not sure if it's possible but the speed runs would be fun to watch if you ever added them as VOD's to the channel. Work and life make it hard to keep up with Twitch or any live streams, I might not be the only one in that camp. Good luck with the continued growth of the channel!

Thank you so much for the kind words! I actually love reading things like this. I like seeing someone break down their thoughts and just explaining their viewpoint! Most of my time is spent trying to fine tune my way of presenting my playthroughs. I am everywhere all of the time, stuck between teaching people how to do something or just yelling at Body and having a story. I have yet to fully figure out how I want to line up my style so that it is enjoyable and informative, and it is a constant thought for me as I make videos. This comment really opens my eyes to it more, so thank you. I have a plan for the Mek stuff, just wanted to get by really fast with a simple setup. The speedrunner in me took over lol As for LaserIO, I actually plan on learning it relatively soon! Thank you again, and I'm glad you are enjoying the videos. I don't blame you for not going back to my ATM7 series! Tbh, I was.... less refined, to say the least. Hopefully I can get some speedruns up soon enough!

I used LaserIO to “automate” it. I only used it to make items for the star so I manually fed the items into chests. But LaserIO made it so I could walk away and do other things while it was processing.

Damn this is a really nice way of setting this up!

The thimg about Powah is that it's super super easy to set up the reactors, and minimal maintenance needed. Like it's just water, uraninite (which is extremely plentiful, easy to farm with bees, and doubled if you use the energizing orb), Redstone, dry ice (or just normal ice, it doesn't really matter) and coal. All easy to farm materials, and you can just set up a bank of like 10 reactors for late game power. Feels almost a little cheaty lol

Hi, i have a problem with the crafter exporting multiple of each item when of course the recipe for energized steel is 1 gold 1 iron but it puts as much as it can in there

I copied your exact steps, but my router spits all the items at once! For example, if I request 3 Niotic crystal blocks, 3 diamond blocks get spitted in the orb. How can I fix it ??

In AE2 the pattern providers have a "blocking mode" that automates powah and other mods like it all in one go

There are a few advantages to AE2, and crafting I feel like is a little better! I still prefer the overall ease of RS, so doing something like this is still fine by me!

Would be awesome to actually play Minecraft with ya cause you are awesome :D

I use compacting chests to convert the blocks to singles.

such a great video, but i cant change the crafter mode on my netherite crafter not even on another crafter from extra Storage. A normal crafter from RS does have the option Dont know why you have the option there to change it. Pretty weird.

I'm trying to do this currently on ATM9 but it only sends it in the energizing orb and not pull it out, i hope we can see you do ATM9 soon

oh it seems you just need to set the redstone mode of the modular router to always, its default in never.

Hi Alfred, this works great for me... except for when the orb outputs more than one item (nitro..).. the router takes the output in batches, I suspect the redstone pulse fires from the modular router when it takes the first one, the crafter sends the next batch through before the previous one is all removed, and then it all gets returned to the refined storage... so I can’t request more than one batch of nitro. I added stack and speed upgrades to the modular router, no difference.. what have I missed? Thanks, I’m loving your content. //Edit, next day.. problem solved, the modular router needs six stack upgrades so that it can pull all 16 completed nitro crystals together in one tick. I also have nine speed upgrades and four energy upgrades (hooked the powah energy cables onto it as well as the energising rods, it’s now unbreaking IX. ) Best.

I got it up to the point of the interface. I can craft the items, but it gets stuck in the buffer on the router module, whether I have the sender in or not. Anyone able to help with that?

Double check the sender module and make sure that it is set to whitelist and it's clear. I also have a full guide on this if you want to check it out!

It might be because the router isn't pulling fast enough. Make sure to give it some speed and stack upgrades!
