Different parents have different parenting styles and different kids have different needs. Her mom also literally said that 10 or 10:30 pm is also fine for them @1:02. Some kids can really benefit from having structure.

i was thinking that too . maybe for the boys a small , non-strict schedule would be helpful , but for the girls it’s a little unnecessary . they , being in college , know that they need to prioritize certain things in order to get everything completed .

I agree with doing academic things throughout the day so you’re not just sitting around on video games & phones but an entire schedule like that ? No. For the younger boys , that’s a great idea but not those 2 older girls.

She literally told them idc what u have in ur schedule I just want u to have one (prob so they don’t fall into a slump of not doing anything!). She wanted them to include activities that would incorporate exercise, intellectual stimulation, and productivity, at least that’s what I get from it. Everyone in the comments saying this is too much, but also recognize that hey we’re teenagers all we r going to want to do when we don’t have school and can’t go out it is watch Netflix or play video games all day. This is kinda of her way of ensuring that they still keep in touch with productivity and physical and mind(?) activeness.

Very inaccurate, idk if you’re aware but a parents responsibility is to set structure and guidelines call it “control” if you’d like but that’s what good healthy parenting is. This isn’t extreme, ppl our age don’t know how to act these days and that’s mainly bc of poor parenting.
