My last time playing about 7 games there was this big guy that was running within 7 feet and firing instead of bang-bang (it was a bang-bang within 15 feet rule). He also did not call shots when shot on torso, legs and mask. If he was wearing a pate carrier I would have understood but he was just wearing a harness. The refs did nothing even though we ALL were complaining. I hit him mainly with 350-400 fps with .25 gram bb's and stil he did not call shots. Turns out he worked there so that explains why the ref did nothing lol. It is fun when people play by the rules and I just don't understand why some experienced players do not call shots.

@@RetlocGaming that’s why paintball is more fun IMO. And more realistic. Almost all of our FTX drills were with tags when I was in the military. When you got hit, you fucking knew. And it made everyone respect things a lot more (there was no casually walking and standing around like in these videos). Granted, paintball is a bit more expensive and out of reach, but there’s nothing like trying to take (or hold) 4 walls with paint slugs flying out in every direction. Obviously, nothing comes close to the real deal, but that’s another topic for another day.

@@jasonfrost5025 Agreed, I only do airsoft cause I grew up in Anchorage Alaska and we have a big Army/Airforce base there so you see helicopters, convoys, fighter jets and so much stuff that the military is just natural. I like guns at the gun range and playing airsoft is a good substitute because it is realistic (besides the ammo count) and it feels very real. The only 2 reasons I don't do paintball is 1; people SAY it hurts more and even my friend who got hit by a stray paint slug on the hip and says it hurts worse. 2; They use gas which is expensive, you can't fly with gas, and you have to worry about ammo and gas. I use AEG's for airsoft and use a plate carrier with a foam plate so I feel the thud's but they don't hurt. I wish they would make airsoft guns that have realistic bullets and shell's but the actual bullet (not the shell) is a sort of hard gel that breaks on impact and hurts like airsoft but looks like paintball.

I wish I could have something nearby like this. I've deployed to Iraq and I feel like this would be fun to reunite skills that the military taught me some day. Even for example at 6:20, you should really have covering fire when crossing like that. Basically just shooting dispersion/flooding rounds towards the enemy to achieve higher ground. Looks like fun!

I've learned 3 things today: Large scale airsoft looks like a lot of fun; there are places that use real APC's; and if you total your mustang or dodge charger doing a bad burnout at a cars and coffee, this is where it goes.

well yes and no. The rules of physics state, that the cameraman is always invunerable so yeah it was impressive that he was hauling all that gear while fighting but simultaniously it wasnt impressive, since he was invunerable

At 1:00 .....this is why you and your buddy always throw two, simultaneously. It is much harder for them to throw back out two than one. One is stressful, two causes panic. They fatally pause that one extra second to decide which one to throw out first.

In some matches real guns with blank firing divices are allowed. They dont actually fire a projectile players are just supposed to assume they're "hit" if someone with one lights them up.

@V C Luckily they are very strict about not letting live ammunition anywhere near the field. The people that do the BFD thing are generally very responsible about it and I've never heard of any problems or casualties occurring from it. It's funny that the random public is more responsible with firearms than actual "professional" prop houses and actors lmao

Doesn’t surprise me, since a lot of airsoft players are split into either red/orange team and blue team, people seem to think the footage is real. In a Novritsch scope cam video he ambushed a group of players who were wearing blue armbands, and because one drops to the floor behind some long grass in a semi-realistic way, someone commented: “Blue armbands, Ukraine?”
