I like the go pro cleaning vids, especially for the tips and tricks like the washable pee pads underneath! Plus the vibes are cute and chill. Unfortunately my gerbil is getting quite old - one has already passed - and eventually after he passes I'm going for guineas again for the first time in a decade!! Always looking for inspo & excited for more vids!

I know I commented 4 days ago but im rewatching this just because. So what I found seems to work for my piggies, is I'll actually clean out their litter trays first. and top it with fresh hay, and then it's so much easier to clean the rest of the cage because the guinea pigs will be busy eating fresh hay. Just a suggestion you may want to consider trying sometime if you want.

It was very entertaining, I don't mind long videos, I enjoy them very much. Whenever I clean their enclosure I put them in smaller store cages, so they're not in the way and it works perfectly, of course they take space from their room but I'm lucky, they have a big room. I always wonder why you and Austin use kitchen paper rolls, I have a designated fabric towel to clean the cages, that way we don't waste the paper ones, and we don't generate more garbage, and I wash it after used. Just a thought. It was very sweet how they all kept going under the fleece 😂❤🐹

Aw thank you! Honestly it’s just my go to, I feel like I always have paper towels around but I don’t always have a rag I want to use. But I have used rags before!

One thing I always do is clean the hay area first! Keeps the dirtier hay out of the clean cage and then the pigs have something to keep themselves busy with while I clean the rest of their cage!

LOL good to know i'm not the only one who struggles with either folding fleece over to make it look so perfect, or having piggy's wanting to explore the cage before its ready. LOL I suppose the saying is true, the struggle is real! lol

I love watching your videos! They are so well done and informative. It’s been a big help to me preparing to bring my first ever guinea pigs home. I go to pick up three girls I have adopted from a rescue this morning!!! 🥳
