What a Run!! I watched your Hands quite worried though, because over the last few years, i´ve heard a LOT of people say: "Don´t ever place your thumbs inside a DD-Wheel!", since there´s a good amount of stories, about broken thumbs and wrists.

@@ProjectSimRacing Shoot at 25 frames per second. This is the same frame rate used in cinema. It will result in smooth footage similar to the Cinematic mode on newer iPhones. Give it a try...

I appreciate the suggestion, but 25 frames per second would make fast-paced games like this look very laggy and unwatchable. Trust me, I’ve seen others try it, and it even gives me motion sickness. So, definitely not 😁

Yeahhhh, that some serious speed and jumps all over! I don´t know why Porsche don´t comeback to the rallys (with an official team), they sure would delivery some "punch" to the rest of the teams

To be honest, it didn’t take that many tries to get this video 😁 I think I got it on the 5th attempt if I remember correctly. But I did run this stage a lot back in the day, so I remember most of it to be honest. BUT, I did try to get a much better time because I know I can push the Porsche a lot harder. I got to a point where I was about 10 seconds faster, but I never finished those runs. And I did try for about 2 hours after getting the initial video 😄🤫

I actually use Fanalabs recommended settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 and default in-game settings with soft-lock on for both of them😊

More of WRC Generations guy myself as I don't lately find time to game with the wheel and that game is easier with controller but I can totally respect what DR2.0 achieved for the genre. Not surprised (and almost glad) that EA's new crapshoot WRC game is more or less DoA within a year from release. What a shitshow that game is.

It’s really unfortunate. EA WRC was made by the same talented Codemasters team behind DR2, and I’m sure they wanted to make it great. But with EA’s final say, it seems like the game didn’t reach its full potential. I still enjoy EA WRC, but it’s definitely not where it could be.

@@ProjectSimRacing Agreed. Always had huge regard for Codies but the game just has EA written all over it. Hard to express in words but it's almost like it's a toned down and very tame driving experience. Perhaps they tried to get too much into it with regards the presentation and the total WRC broadcast experience and might have been better off optimising the performance and improving the driving a little more. Either way, great video mate especially in time for the Polish round of WRC. Keep killing it!

EA wants their games to be broadly appealing and easy to play, while DiRT Rally 2.0 is much more unforgiving and requires a lot more practice. It’s a shame because Codemasters has such a strong track record. Glad you enjoyed the video mate! Will do👍🙌
