I like tea but seeing coffee being made is fun
hey MrT have you ever tried doing breakfast burritos as a special? it occurred to me that a lot of your customers seem to love wraps for lunch, so maybe they'd like it. I'm imagining something like scrambled eggs + black beans or pinto beans + chopped up bacon and sausage + hashbrowns + cheese + some of that fresh salsa you have on deli bar, in a toasted wrap. really the only extra prep would be cooking a big pot of beans with mexican inspired seasonings. or I guess you could even use baked beans but I think doing mexican style beans would be awesome in there 😃 maybe you've already tried something like this? but if not maybe it could be a fun change 😄 keep up the great work mate

The milk in the pitcher had just gotten too hot. In order to steam a rich, creamy “micro foam”, the milk must start out cold. So, sometimes it’s more efficient to just dump the hot milk and replace it with fresh, cold milk before steaming.

MrT knocks out the majority of the spent grounds in the “knock box” first. There are very few grounds left that go down the sink.
Is there anyreason behind not mixing more milk in the heating mug??

It can bubble over if we added any more to the initial pouring of milk.

When its near boiling basically. The top of the milk will get frothy and foamy.

Correct. He’s also watching the thermometer. The trick is to get the milk nice and hot right about the same time the texture of the milk is thick and creamy. It comes with experience.

It shoots hot air and steam out and heats up the milk. It leaves a frothy top that you can add to the top of the coffee (the foamy stuff you get on top of a cappuccino or latte)

Curious..Do someone doing this hate a guy like me who just orders like black coffee or love me? lol. If i feel like being fancy i'll do a double espresso.
