@@wijardwong Exactly why I got rid of it - absolutely dead, no matter how tight I strung it.

Why do you do this loop at the top? No benefit of it

    1. I'd like to have all 4 knots look the same for aesthetics 2. It prevents knots from sinking into grommets. The top of the frame is the weakest part of the racquet so you wouldn't want the knot to sink and break a main string. So I'd argue that the top knot should be robust and sturdy. 3. I made the same knots for main tie offs?, So why not also tie off the Cross with the same knot

@@wijardwong Sorry, I think my question wasn't clear enough. Why do you do the last cross before the 2nd last cross and then still do the knot in grommet no. 5? If you pull each string individually then just do 3rd last cross, 2nd Last cross and last cross. That's what I mean with loop

@@Momo-bg1de oh yes. I do it to minimize tension lost. The cross strings supply lots of friction, so if I tie off on the 2nd last cross, there's the 3rd and last cross in-between to act as friction. But I always did this and it's not a right or wrong decision. I never changed it because it works well for me
