This car is just perfect for me. Not very big, not very small it's just right. I love the simple dashboard and that engine is a masterpiece. Those exhaust pops are awesome.

+Dylan Soet Its actually very important. If you did that on the A45 it shifts up for you. On the RS3 manual mode is exactly that completely manual

Well... I like my BMWs right but come on, the RS3. It looks good (i don't get how Audi can make their normal cars so bland while the RS models are absolute beauties ?!), it goes like a beast and man that sound... I love how they actually tune the exhaust with their V10 in mind. I'm not sure they say it, but you know it sounds like the 5.2. We all know inline 5 sound like V10, it's no secret, but it does sound like the 5.2 ! Yeah okay it might understeer a bit but off the line and out of corners this thing goes man, it goes ! And i'm sure it's a blast in the mountains :) Just another car on my "I must own that one day" list haha. Honestly i want it more than an M135i actually, you have to be open-minded.

+ALEX The "audi understeer" myth is some of the biggest bullshit in the car world. No, you don't feel any understeer, especially on the roads, the only thing you feel is great stability and safety. All cars understeer at the limit, even the most hardcore, tuned for the track supercars, it's by design to prevent doofuses from crashing. The thing that's different about Audi's is that they feel very stable and secure up until the point where they start to understeer, whereas most other cars get unstable and nervous in other ways too once you push them to the limit, which is why Audi's feel like they start to understeer sooner than other cars, but that's not the case if you compare their cornering speeds and G-forces to other cars.

I have had all sorts of cars over the years and now am lucky enough to own a RS3, if your pushing 100% to the limit its there, but the 99.99999% of the time your not, it is super stable, amazing traction, sharp turn in and decent (although could be better) steering feel. That sound though, ill gladly give up 0.5sec on the track to something like a A45 for that soundtrack! The 5cyc engine is a masterpeice

The old volvo 5 cilinder 2.5L engines do sound better though. I am impressed anyway! And is does this turbo kick in at about 2000 rpm? Thought I heard so..

Honestly, this is my dream car. Only problem with it is : reliability.. People always say that german cars are "lease" cars, "disposible" cars ... I REALLY don't want to believe that , but then I figured : turbo (stressed) 5 cylinder, dual clutch (prone to failure) transmission, all VERY expensive to repair ... I think I'm ready to pay the price for the sake of that v10-like heavenly sound and handling close to a sportscar's

+Matthew Hall Nothing artificial about it, but if the artillery fire isn't to your liking you can drive in comfort mode, but then what's the point really. Might as well buy a regular A3

When you said, valve closed, how is it posible the engine is running? what kind of stupidity is that?, are you talking about 2 different profiles of cam, or what? that engine has that kind of cam shaft?

There is a valve in exhaust pipe which enables bypass.
