With a high mileage c63 have you had any major issue yet?

I have a lot of advice for the younger me or someone considering a high mileage C63. Ive had the car since 60k miles and at 140k life was tough, you know how it is and I didn’t notice my harmonic balancer wobbling when I drove in rage and it ate into the timing cover. A lot of “while you’re in there” maintenance, ended up with a refreshed top end. Thats something you will have to do unless the previous owner did it. Lifters, tappets, timing chain guides, cam adjusters, timing chain. Im going to make a video soon. Three oil pans, RTV sealed, nobody talks about this. Huge job if paying someone else. Bottom line. Have a place to work on the car, do it all yourself and spend $5k. Instead of $20k + paying other people 👍

Anything wrong with it since u had high mileage?

Good amount of stuff has gone wrong, nothing left me stranded. I’ll make a video soon getting into it and what to avoid when considering a pre face lift high mileage C63 AMG 👍. One of the most expensive things besides rebuilding the top end for preventative maintenance was sealing the oil pans. (3) stacked on top of each other held together by RTV! So better do a good job there or its $$$. Engine out. Stay tuned
