    That looked like a ton of work! Perseverance is definitely the right word lol. I really like that you can see through the epoxy to the edges of the wood. Looks awesome man!

    Did you get a lot of bubbles when you used the drill to mix it? Anytime I mix a fraction of what you did, I get thermal runaway (mixing causes heat, which promotes curing, which causes heat, and so on) shortly afterward I end up with mostly solidified epoxy that wont self level, and bubbles remain trapped. This only happens when I mix anything over 8oz. or if I pre-warm it and mix it already hot

    I did get bubbles but I tried to pop them as I mixed. Did you use deep pour epoxy?

    @@dbgelman the deep pour epoxies have a very long cure time (mine actually set off thermally too soon). Sometimes it takes days to cure, so typically all the bubbles get worked out by that time and leveled

    @@IntoTheDirtshop thanks for the info...one othe question: Does the epoxy you used regain it's clarity after subtractive finishing like sanding/polishing?

    Didn't need to drill the door remove the bottom door seal and there are drain plugs
