i think perseverance is the word I am looking for....
That looked like a ton of work! Perseverance is definitely the right word lol. I really like that you can see through the epoxy to the edges of the wood. Looks awesome man!
Atta boy for pushing through. Loved the Sam Green cameo! Turned out great in the end

Thanks man! Yea it was a bit more than I thought
Did you get a lot of bubbles when you used the drill to mix it? Anytime I mix a fraction of what you did, I get thermal runaway (mixing causes heat, which promotes curing, which causes heat, and so on) shortly afterward I end up with mostly solidified epoxy that wont self level, and bubbles remain trapped. This only happens when I mix anything over 8oz. or if I pre-warm it and mix it already hot

Also, what epoxy did you use?

I did get bubbles but I tried to pop them as I mixed. Did you use deep pour epoxy?

@@dbgelman it’s called crystal clear, I put a link in the description

@@dbgelman the deep pour epoxies have a very long cure time (mine actually set off thermally too soon). Sometimes it takes days to cure, so typically all the bubbles get worked out by that time and leveled

@@IntoTheDirtshop thanks for the info...one othe question: Does the epoxy you used regain it's clarity after subtractive finishing like sanding/polishing?
Didn't need to drill the door remove the bottom door seal and there are drain plugs
