The glow lights in the vases are amazing
I did a floor on that idea but I printed up pages that looked like marble andcut into large squares. I painted the floor a gray to simulate grout and glued the squares on the gray floor. It turned out great to my surprise!

@@kimberbell4238 It's still there but I put some flooring over it recently. It seemed to hold up well although it wasn't in a room there there was a lot of traffic. I got the idea of the net where some people were using paper bags and tearing them up and gluing them down. I did like that floor but I have a new home now and it was in an addition. I do know i could take the flooring up and the floor would still look nice.

@@user-eo8wz3gl5n Somewhere in my files of pictures I have a pic. You can search the net and find other ways of doing that. You could use old comic pages and a bookstore in town did pages from old books. It is a cool way to do a floor and lots cheaper than buying lino plus it is your own design.
To get a clear color effect try mixing gel cake coloring with Elmer’s clear glue instead
Love the Sun table and the cornstarch stencil table.
Love All the Creative Ideas ! Several years ago I did something similar to this on a sturdy cardboard box . However , I used thick brown paper bags maybe need to add a little moisture to the bags , torn randomly the scrunched up, the straightened out , glued on to the box an painted over all with the clear glue , it came out looking more -like - leather . If you used maybe a little paint first or in the glue an something to add gloss as I did later with with blue pain an a little glitter . I was so surprised it look so good , as this was just a spur of the moment idea .
The last project with the window, was beautiful
Faux stain glass! I love it! Thank you so much! ❤️ 😊😊👏👏

BRILLIANT flooring Idea!!
😮❤ I love stained glass windows that's a great idea
Love the stained glass idea instead of spending loads of money on Gallery Glass products. Thank you for this! Now to go play Lol.
Love the mandala at 5:50
Really loved these ideas. Definitely will try a few of them. Thank you for getting my creative juices started.
I actually did my bedroom floor like this, love it too. The cost was even better a 14x18 room cost 60 bucks to cover the floor :)

How does it hold up to foot traffic?

Omg this is such a neat idea! Honestly, if I wouldn't have seen this video, I probably would have laughed if someone told me to try it. But, I am also curious to know how well it holds up due to foot traffic and how long it would last. ?My assumption would be that It wouldn't hold up for years and years, I mean obviously lol but, it could be a temporary/emergency fix at least. ?

🤷🏼♀️ Doesn’t the glue reconstitute if it gets wet, I don’t understand how this works for a floor.
Brilliant idea with the faux stained glass.
The vase with flowers, pebbles and clear glue is such a great idea for a reasonable priced dupe of the crazy expensive flowers from high end catalogs I'm e been wishing I could afford. Thanks 😄👍🕊
I really enjoyed all these crafting ideas!❤
The problem with the crafts where you use the glue on glass is this -If you live in a place with high humidity or steam or mist, the glue will become foggy again, and sometimes melt off the glass.

Acrylic is a better choice
The floor, I done that in my multipurpose craft room, about 9yrs ago and its still going strong has some paint marks but it has stayed in place and if I want I can redo it or paint over it.
😮❤ oh my goodness that floor look like wood or leather it was so pretty and the price I bet the prices so freaking low for the stuff to do that way better than a whole new floor
00:10 while I would never do that faux stained glass to my everyday windows, I do have some higher up cathedral windows in shapes that are too expensive to buy shades for. I can see doing this to filter the sunlight, especially during winter when the sun is lower, and smacks you right in the eyes around 4pm. Did not know Elmers came in a clear version. Thanks.

The floor is my favorite. I’m thinking of doing that with old paper wallpaper from the 1940’s.
Love these ideas 😍
Before you spend the money to make a blue glue mason jar just go buy one. That way you can use it for multiple things and not worry.
On the first one, with the faux stained glass window, I really like that idea, but I wish he would've shown how the sun shines through the colors onto a wall when he was mentioning that. Unfortunately, I cannot do anything like this on my windows, because I live in an apartment. But maybe there's a workaround to achieve a similar look. I'll have to think about that. I liked almost all of these projects. I didn't really care for the geode flower pot as much, though, but I like the idea.

Try it on a small area of window or other glass....if memory serves, it peels off easily enough if coats are thicker, consider that so you don't pick a too elaborate a pattern/design.

Thrift the largest picture frame you can find and use that, then hang it in your window. The process is much easier if you are doing it on a flat surface. If you don't want to make it yourself, Walmart and Amazon both have privacy window clings that let in the light, but cannot be seen through in many pretty patterns. They are completely removable.
@CT-1001

Just use frosted contact paper. It can be painted also. An its also way easier to remove this way.

Does your Elmers glue have to be clear? Can it be the white glue?

Landlords love it when you smear glue on the window
wow!
How would you clean your window without destroying the paint and glue ?
20 years ago, we called it "window color" :)
I have these clear glass skulls that dont show up much this would help...and its kewl for many things...love it

It will definitely melt in the dessert, like Vegas0r Phoenix.
Each color.on window needs a border for it to work. Otherwise it looks as if a 5 year old did it. Looks great until you remove the tape. That should tell you something.
Can the window paint be removed ?

Some of these are not good ideas. People often use blue glass mason jars for canning. Now we have to watch for glue stained?

I canned tomatoes, pickles, etc. for years and you usually save the jars and reuse them for canning.. go buy some new ones and then you know they are safe. Not such a big crisis after all.😊

Please don’t put mason jars in the oven. The manufacturer states they aren’t made to withstand it and could shatter.

It is true!! Hometalk does steal other peoples hard work ideas. I remember watching the last lady from start to finish, 2 videos. 😢
I saw a video of someone using pennies for their floor. They glued the pennies to the flor and then went over top a couple times with clear epoxy. It looked pretty cool in the end and was only like 120 bucks for everything... But it might be closer to 200 or 250 today thanks to the crazy bad economy.
Too many drips for the window
The stained glass window at the begin of was terrifying!

1st project - did I hear him say that it peels right off? Was he talking about the actual paint on the window? If anyone has tried this, let me know. If so, what a wonderful way to decorate windows for each season / holiday!

@@SunflowerSunflower101 I've been making faux stained art for over 20 years. There used to be a very old cheap brand that used a type of glue as its base and it was discontinued because of the stain. Using straight glue with paint would be even worse. Even without the paint, the glue will crack and shrivel. I mean, anyone who has been a child and has made craft projects knows what happens to glue when its put in the sunlight. I can't believe this channel has so many followers.
