Lovely shopping trip! I agree with Molly about those double ended felt pens. Even for £1 they are rubbish. I got them for my twins along with a new pencil case each and all the tops fell off in the case.

You did a great review on the things that you chose...I’m glad you were so happy 😁 with your family shop...”Poundland “, has a great bargain loving family if you like!!!, yes not everything is a pound, but you get the style, for less, many items are three for two, it’s the best in my eyes 👀 for bargains, the home wares are the great 👍, I got a six piece dinner set for far less than a boxed set from Wilkinson’s...their own cheap brand...I love it’s fashion, books, DVDs, their is nothing I don’t like about the shop, The staff are really friendly and helpful and nothing is to much that they wouldn’t try and get you what you are looking for if you can’t find it in the shop...keep up with your great blogs, looking forward to serving you soon 🙏🙏🥰👍

Lovely to see your older girls with you shopping. Obviously your eldest adores art your encouragement in regard to letting them but what they like is awesome. I brought my son up not to a labels person and to buy what he wants in regards to products and because it was always his choice I found him far more picky and thoughtful and it's made him a person who now he's older thinks first. He's not adverse to a Poundland or budget shop purchase because he's more inclined to look at item use or fabric comfort rather than price and label. Too many times I've seen parents refuse their kids stuff from Poundland only too see them buy items in " better named shops at twice the price" I know some things you get what you pay for but all the time and kids grow put of things or go off hobbies so quickly. So just wanted to say it's so refreshing to see parents who allow their children the opportunity to use their own judgement and choice rather than projecting a view that shops like Poundland only sell cheap rubbish, which can be totally untrue. Some of these budget shops at times could give some of the bigger branded shops a run for their money.

Lovely to see you going round GY Poundland I haven’t been in there since Spring last year, hoping to be well enough soon to go again.

Hi Holly, my local Poundland (in S.E London) is getting quite good again, after it started to get a bit tired. They've had the Pep for a while, (though it's not huge). but just recently put in loads of fridge and freezer cabinets. They have some good food options now, and a fair bit of it is way cheaper than the supermarkets. 👍

We don’t have a Poundland here in Buxton, I think Macclesfield has one 12 miles away. Buxton here is poor for everything! Not sure where you guys are from but I’m guessing down south, you just came up in recommendations while I was watching videos of Devon on my TV, I miss the south and those Cool accents. I was born and raised in the north but I’m becoming allergic to it ….. lol I much prefer the people in the south!

Tip for that pesky glitter, if the girls do want it. Mix it with PVA glue and store it that way. Mess free.

So good to see a family outing just missing the babies = the girls are so well behaved not running round the shop like some children and wanting every thing in sight - the items you purchased were a bargin - if you were to buy these from stationary & clothing stores your spending would have been doubled
